btw, the pages run very unsmoothly on my SAMSUNG A500, is it just me?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "unsmoothly"? Are there particular pages that seem more affected than others? I've tested the site across a number of browsers including mobile browsers, but it's possible there's a quirk.

Thanks to the translation efforts of https://github.com/maybe-eve a partially-translated Japanese version of the guide is now available. You can find it at https://ja.thealphasguide.com (and the rest of the translation is in progress).

Thanks again for providing this. It's been really helpful to me, and I have pointed a lot of people to it as well.

Among the highest praise I can give a document is that it doesn't tell you anything you don't need to know, and that's where this shines. It gives you just the information you need, but exactly what you need when you're starting out. The Career agent mission breakdowns are great.

I would be careful to not let it grow out of control to the point that a user might get lost in the detail and options. Pointing someone to an Eve University page will often overwhelm them with information and when you're starting out it's fine to completely skip all the details.

Every question in EVE has a complete answer that starts "well, it depends on this and this and this" and ends with "except and unless that or that or that", and at some point people will want to know all that, but at the beginning you can just completely omit most of the details as if they didn't exist, just to get people going and keep from overwhelming them.

most lv4 missions can be done in a navy cruiser, or even normal cruiser on alpha clones, if you know how to fly that ship.

This is misleading, and should not be in a guide that is partly aimed at newish players.

Some level 4 missions (those with relatively little combat) can be done in an "Alpha cruiser", not "most".

A list or some selection criteria for L4 missions that can be done in an "Alpha cruiser" would be helpful.

Yep, that's the plan. There are a few more detailed guides in the Reference section, but the initial chapters 1-9 will always be aimed at "just the right amount" writing.
