Why? Because Brave. But also because Spoopy, like the rest of Brave, takes Day-1 Alphas, no questions asked. We're getting bigger and our pilots' SP pools are growing...um... Heroically. :P Because of this, we anticipated a problem: Our high-SP guys were going to want to do high-class WH content while our newbros would get left behind. That's a recipe for friction. What do?

We knew we could farm the main C5/6 Sleeper content no problem, but our newer players had to wait a couple of months to skill up into our farming fits - Gnosi for errybody!. Worse, that dank, dank ISK from the Drifter Response Battleships was taunting us, but we weren't sure we could handle it. That's a truckload of DPS, we'd have to gimp our shield fits for tackle and our logi was already pushing the edge of what they could handle given the resist profiles of our newer players and the incoming DPS from the Sleepers.

So, we had two seemingly unrelated problems: High-SP pilots out-leveling the content our C2 provides, and Newbros getting locked out of that new content. That last one is antithetical to Brave's way of doing things - ANYONE can come, no matter what, we'll find a spot for you.

What if... now hold on, this is going to sound crazy... but what if we go back to Brave's roots and just YOLO tackle the holy hell out of the Drifter with Atrons? We don't have to gimp our fits' resist profiles, we give the newbros something to do other than picket or salvage, and if they get blapped off the field, whelp, just go reship, here's a dozen more Atrons.

Even better, they hang out with the pickets as tackle on the holes and they can farm explorers while we blap the sleepers.

Turns out, this plan works. The Drifters go for the biggest sig-radius on the field. They ignore the frigates, even burning hard with their MWDs on full blast.

Rip Drifters because Atrons. Our newbros are ballsy AF.
