1.3b loan request - 4.5%/month, 3-4 month loan term

Hi folks.

My plan is to leverage my 10 science slots to research BPOs for structure components.

There's money to be made from these with a bit of effort and this can only continue into the future as Fortizars and Keepstars keep exploding.

I currently have 4 BPOs in research, but cannot afford the remaining 6. At 200m each to buy the BPOs plus research fees, I'd need about 1.3 billion to maximize my returns.

I don't have collateral, which is why I am offering 4.5% interest per month. I will fund interest payments through other play.

After about 75 days research I will spend time copying the BPOs, then sell the researched prints. If they sell fast I will repay the loan within 3 months, if not, 4.

Have a quick look at some of the other non-collateralised loan requests that have been posted; your interest rate is way too low. They tend to only gather interest from actual investors above 10%. Who knows, you might actually get it as you're only after a small amount.

With my plan, I can't rely upon making money at 10% interest.

I'm not one for entering into deals unless I'm sure I can live up to my end.

Fair enough, you should probably start on a Plan B though; it's unlikely you'll gather much interest here.

Problem is also, 3-4 months in EVE is like a decade in real--life. The risk that you - an unknown entity - will burn out on EVE during that time frame is overwhelming for any serious investors. Their nose for risk/reward assessment tells them it is not worth it.

I can't stress this enough. Non-collateralised = higher risk. Since there are no institutional safeguards, you have to price to a point that prices out the risk. <10% uncollateralised is literally just hoping someone is bored.

I've taken half of it, 650 million, which is not a lot. Yeah, MD regulars, I know this wasn't a good idea.

it encourages other do the same, sometimes is fun, sometimes it's "meh"

Lately they arent even trying, they used to have a plan ppl backed up scams with API plans, good writing and so on )

Opportunities multiply as they are seized.

Thanks for the opportunity.

I'll stick to 7 lines with the smaller capital injection rather than trying to fill all 10.
