Confirming that a prayer is required for repackaging. Also if they have no damage they can be packaged. Since people working in the cargo bay can't package damaged crystals. They just don't have the training.

Because crystals take dmg after being used. Just like condoms.. Use it more then once and after 9 months you have to pay certain bills suddenly/

ps; i would go for a prayer yea.. best pray a long time.

merely loading a T2/faction crystal into a weapon deals a tiny bit of damage to it.

All ammunition, by design, is only consumable... not repairable. For obvious reasons.

Thus, logically, no stacking for used/damaged crystals as they would all have varying amounts of damage (thus not being uniform) and the code that enables stacking items requires the item to be in perfect shape before repackaging.

Do Tech 1 laser crystals take damage now? Back in the day only Tech 2 took damage. Do Faction crystals take damage? I have not used lasers in a long time.

T1 crystals are still "infinite." T2 and Faction crystals take damage when loaded and used.

Also... someone (I forget who) ran some numbers awhile back and found that the ISK per shot rate of T2/Faction crystals is significantly LESS than the ISK per shot rate of hybrid, projectile, and missile T2/Faction ammos.

My current problem with laser crystals.

You can reprocess faction ones that are damaged, but not T2 ones (because T2 ones need to be in a stack...). this IMO needs to be fixed, either way doesn't matter to me.

The problem boils down to Customs agents not permitting the Crystal methods to be packaged and solid since they are an illegal substance.
