Put simply a titain purpose was capital killing as such subcaps should be able to avoid its fire while in motion even battleships going 60m/s should be able to avoid right now depsite the super nerfr a large titain blob turns a subcap fleet into canon fodder

I see alot of pl alts in here claiming its not overpowerd. If i look at the link that the OP posted i see alot of frigats.... Im sure all those frigats where stationary and not moving faster than 60 m/s.......

Titans can even kill afterburning light dictors.....

It is impossible to catch a tracking titan blob without a army of dictors.

I cant wait untill the east is purified, im sure this will cause a nice player drop again

pretty sure if OP had his wish then his alliance would have lost a Nyxx last nite to a subcap fleet in a cyno jammed incursion system that was only saved by the tracking titan still in there. Such hypocrites those AAA Roll

Yet another thread of someone whining about their easy mode being out-classed by the latest easy mode being imployed more strategicly. And instead of developing a way to counter and deal with it on his/their own with a **** ton of tools, ways, and ideas to do so already existing ingame.. going to cry and cry and cry and make mommabear CCP fix it for them.

So much for actually applying effort and strategic thought. Why work for something when whimpers can have it handed to you.. or just submit and pay to make the bleeding stop.....

Getting supercaps nerfed into the ground.. nerfs your own supers into the ground.

That is the punchline.. CCP can not fix player fail. The ones that excel at adapting and developing new methods, or revamping current ones to fit their particular nature and abilities PROPERLY.. and then imploy them correctly, consistently.. are the ones that are going to succeed over and over and over. Fail breeds fail.. Lemmings to fotm ideas are typical dumb fucks that can't adapt their strategy to an ever evolving landscape. Not until it punches them in the face. Man up.. or be a lil whiny ***** when you get punched in the face.

Please, enlighten me on how I am 'mad'. I'm not the one failing. Are you mad?

EDIT: I might be mad.. at myself if say my abilities were only good for locking primary and firing in fleet/gang. If I had, say.. only 3 solo kills of idk, say 2 pods n a rifter from a couple hundred kills.. while having been killed by a solo 13 times in a couple dozen deaths. Yeah.. I definitely would be mad at myself and would have to reconsider what I am capable of and my overall abilities to pilot without assistence. Maybe I should blame the game instead of myself.. what do you think? Why be mad at myself when I can blame the game mechanics.. am I right?

As a Dread Pilot, I call these whines and complaints about Titan Tracking to be complete Bullshit.

A dread that is out of siege mode will have the same tracking as a titan.

My revelation outside of siege mode (therefore no tracking penalty) with 3 tracking comps with tracking scripts, a standard drop booster, and 2 tracking enhancers will COMPLETELY MISS a cruiser orbiting at 180 m/s at 35 km.

My character has max gunnery skills and my revelation is not moving of course so i have optimal tracking.

In order for my dread to hit the cruiser it has to be double webbed down to 30-40 m/s and be lit with one target painter in order to hit it.

So a titan would have great difficulty hitting a moving cruisers or frigate within 40km or less. The only way for your cruiser to get hit was for you to be orbiting at that distance with an mwd on, which it will still have a hard time hitting or you are a moron and flew straight at the titan or away.

Now if you get webbed and painted, well that is the purpose of webs and painters, don't like it that's simply your fault.

People who say they lost an AB frig/cruiser to a titan, what were you doing, how were you flying, and what was on the field for you to get popped? If there's a ship on the field like rapier or loki, well you gotta kill/jam/neut that rather than shooting the titan.

Titans themselves cannot destroy subcaps that easily, as long as you have a basic idea of how to fly, rather than be braindead and sit still.

I mean I could use the same argument against Battleships, OH NOES a 1400mm maelstrom insta popped my frigate/ cruiser NERF MAELSTROMS and 1400mm.

If you were standing still and let your self get locked and killed by a titan then you fail at eve.

I remember writing about the Titan problem back in 2007/2008. At that time people were telling me I was being dumb. I really ought to dig that thread back up and quote some of the responses because some of the names here seem familiar.

AAA complaining about Titans equals irony overload.

I have a suggestion, halve the tracking on capital guns and remove the tracking penalty from siege.

Dreads wont be hurt, and titans will have less chance of hitting a battleship, even maybe less ratting in titans.

Why shouldn't a Titan have the ability to sacrifice much tank to hit a BS?

DD-aoe was removed.. that was certainly reasonable and needed. But then the new DD got nerfed again when Moms got their hp buff shortly after.

Are people expecting these things to get nerfed into nothing more than bridge duty?

No I do not have a Titan pilot.. I prefer sub-caps and have no desire to buy/train a supercap pilot. But I don't believe I am entitled to more than those pilots because of my choice. The common excuse seems to be.. 'there is too many'. Yeah.. cause it is worth having some around and in use. They are and should be a stable of all powerful alliances. They are Power.. and they damn well should be and remain that way.

Instead of nerfing them directly.. nerf them indirectly. Minerals being hit, drone regions dropping something else, massive bot ban, spike in costs make each s-cap hurt more when lost and leave some questioning whether or not to use theirs in certain arenas n scenarios.

Cyno changes.

Changes to dreads.. rework dreads instead of nerfing Titans.. and moms further into the ground.

I don't agree about removing their ewar immunity.. having some T1 cruiser completely disable some s-cap is such a terrible idea, and a pussyfoot panzy ass way of crying for an easy mode. Why not some kind of 'spider' ewar systems on some reworked dreads or carriers that can be able to put some debuffs onto Titans instead.

Point being.. fix other areas.. and you'll find out you don't need to the nerf the stables of power directly. Let them hold their stigma.. but become dampen'd by the effort of others.
