Steam PLEX issue

A little over 12 days ago, a friend purchased 2 PLEXs through Steam and gifted them to me. He got the receipt for purchasing them, I got the email for having received them. I added them to my Steam library successfully, at which point they have disappeared. I've logged into every account I've ever had and checked, there's not even any PLEXs on any of the accounts that aren't redeemable. I've tried unlinking and relinking Eve with Steam and creating a whole new account with Steam credentials, to no avail. I put in a support request 11 days ago, nobody has responded to it. I have also put in a Steam support request on the matter, 5 days ago, and again to no avail. Does anyone here have ideas or is capable of getting ahold of support?

Im having the same issue, going on over 14 hours for myself atm, ive gotten an answer from Steam that the product went through on their part but i dont find them redeemable on any of my accounts

Moral of the story: Don't purchase anything Eve related through steam.

You should always purchase Plex and game time through account management and then gift your friends the Plex via contracts in-game. Going through steam is just asking for trouble for obvious reasons.

One good lesson that Eve teaches you is to always try to eliminate the middle man to avoid complications and downtime.

I did the same a few weeks ago, using credit on my steam account from a voucher. I was told that because my accounts are somehow not directly linked to my steam account (despite having credentials linked), or that none of them are the account that is created when you first download Eve from steam, that the PLEX cannot be delivered. Nothing can be done as the Forget All Accounts feature on the launcher doesn't work, so no amount of uninstalling or deleting of cache files will trigger the process for creating the Steam/Eve account required to deliver the PLEX.

As people have said, do not use Steam for Eve related things, although there is no warning, you will be burned eventually.

RIP £15 that could have been used for the winter season sales.
