Yoiul Festival Final Gift -- in game items don't match email

There are some parts of this e-mail that make questions...

"EXTRA GIFTS AVAILABLE NOW" - extra?

"In addition to the Yoiul Festival gifts offered over the last 11 days, there are now extra items to enjoy!" - extra again? wtf
Is the 12th Yoiul Festival gift the "extra" one? Or is it about some really extra?

Well, I guess there wasn't anything "extra" planned. It's just a mistake of GM which had wrote this e-mail

I didn't any gift on the 25 I logged in after 7pm. I never had a redeem option on my screen.

Sounds like from the Email were supposed to get a bunch o' junk after 25th... But if they are counting yesterday at 2359 EVE Time, then no accelerator was with my Fireworks/2 launcher/skin



i thought ccp really cared about their paying customers by atleast giving us a gift on December 25th, Christmas day.. no other crap or excuse.. i logged in and was hoping to get something and didn't get jack chit..

im also very poor in game and i wish those out there will give me some isk now.. since i didn't get anything for Christmas. maybe it be best i just kill myself now and die in a corner quietly.

They did give you a gift for Christmas day, it was redeamable at 00:00 GMT (AKA eve time) december 25th. which if your in north america is anywhere between 4-8pm ish.... so they gave you your christmas gift, you where just impatient and opened it on christmas eve... and are now complaining about having nothing left to open.


Well, it's right now 10pm on the 25th in North America, eastern time. I received nothing today at all. Yesterday I got a skin, launcher and snowballs. Don't know if there was supposed to be anything today, and tbh I'm not super bothered, but just sayin' that there wasn't. Maybe you meant december 24th... but that's not Christmas day, that's Christmas eve. I just think it's a bit strange about them saying how "special" the last day would be... if it is the items I got yesterday they were about on par with most of the other ones if a bit below some (multiple skins).

This. There was no December 25th gift after 7pm est (00:00 eve time)

Anyway, Xmas in EVE wouldn't be Xmas without complaining about free stuff. Lol

They canceled one of the gifts and took a day off and made the gift the nes sale. So the 24th ended the festival with the 11th which is actually the 12th gift from what I understand.

Santa failed to deliver any loot for me on about half of the 12 days. Maybe CCP assigned Sansha Clawz to me instead.

Agre that the gifts been better this year but the final "special" gift for 25th.well the gnossis we got was it the first day was 1000 times better lol

No word from CCP on this topic? They have sent out an email to every active eve account and announced a great gift, but dont deliver it?

Did the CCP EVE market watchers intervene last minute because the gift was too good?

Asking around, it doesn't appear that anyone got a skill training accelerator with their gift. Which is OK, but the email implies that one should have been included.

Box No. 6 was actually the Skill Accelerator.

Everyone who didn't (try to) redeem their boxes within the 24h timeframe, won't get them anymore. For some funny reason one of the least interesting of the boxes, No. 12 aka Snowball-Box, can be redeemed until January something.

I for my part think that there was a different set of presents planned for the 25th, but one or more reasons lead to baguette

Well at least this confirms I'm not going mad, I thought somehow I had missed it or had not picked them up correctly.

I wonder if CCP are going to look into this or just think we made some sort of mistake and didn't collect.

I don't think it was meant only for the Christmas day gift (I could be wrong) but I did get a skill point accelerator in one of the prior day's gifts. Another one would have been phenomenal but either way, I'm grateful for gifts.

It is the usual CCP genial form of advertising. They have sent a mail that was made for the opening of the gift season at the end of the gift season. The list is everything that was gifted during the campaign.
And the result of this snafu is angry people instead of happy people.
Or maybe CCP is owned by the devil and the goal was to ruin some geek Christmas. EvilTwisted

The whole 12 days of gifts thing has been a let down for me. Wish they could just give the good main gifts and forgo the other stuff.

SKINS in general are a load of rubbish and should have been scrapped before even hitting the drawing board. Couple with the fact that every single account no matter whether subscribed or not was entitled to them, meant that not only did we have useless SKINS, but also worthless SKINS.

If CCP want to look at gifts done well then I'd say they need to take a look at Gecko's, Gnosis, or the Cerebral Enhancers for example. But they need to be limited to only paying accounts so as to not oversupply the market.

Skins, I have a lot of skins. (I can't use.)

I have skins for: Incursis, Magnage, Maulus, Punisher, Scythe, Stabber, Rifter, Tristan, and Augoror. (Corpmates couldn't use them either, so they passed them on to me, for some reason.)

But as Caldari, I will be flying: Merlin, Cormorant, Moa, Caracal, Ferox, Drake, and etc.

Nope didn't get any skins for those.

Maybe Santa Clause knew I was Caldari.
