Howdy Happy upcoming new years,

Well just got back into the game and i see the economy changed quite a bit. So i have an indy alt but high sec business is kinda meh from mining or manufacturing you making very insignificant isk per hour, then there was nerf to rorq boost and now i am not sure i want my alt as it was designed for mining buffs aka orca or rorq.

Few interesting major changes happen while i was away, sov system was reworked but still getting hold of it, PLEX went up fromm 400 mill to 1 bill plus ( not sure whats up with this), skill extraction and injection.
Characters on bazaar were worth about 1mill sp=300 mill, now 1mill sp is about 800 mill.,dual training available for plex as well.
Also hear that capital ship production got easier? If yes at what extent?
high sec or low sec industry how it has changed?
How is the whole business around skill injection, farm a second char just for that maybe?

All in all i am now considering selling my indy toon as it was worth about 10-15 bill 4 years ago, now its about 30ish. I am just not sure if there is point in keeping him as time is limited and i want to spend most of the time flying in fleet hunting or ratting. The alt in question can fly cheron, orca, hulk, t2 transport ships, rorq, gallente lev 4 missions, some research and processing, good drone skills.

Just looking for ideas, cheers

Would not exactly call it nerf, nullsec folks say Rorquals are the new ISK printing machines ...

... regarding highsec production, trade, profits are fine.

Is it easier to install POS or citadels or whatever we can use now for personal use or it requires still lots of standing?

How exactly capital production got easier, what you need now for it to get going or maybe just parts?

POS requires no standing. You need a player corporation and an empty moon. Industry can be very profitable per hour actually spent logged in to the client.

Thus, PI in highsec requires about half an hour per week to manage 6 planets for 1 character and you'll have trouble making less than 60 million/week. You can double that in nullsec. There aren't many income sources that reliably pay over 100 million ISK/hour!

Research and manufacturing are background tasks. It only takes a few seconds to submit and deliver jobs. Likewise, it only takes a few seconds to submit a market order. I restock my markets and adjust my prices in the evening and earn most of my in-game income overnight while I am sleeping. In the morning I'll submit production jobs to restock what I sold overnight - they will complete by the time I get home from work.

Skill injectors are not a road to riches. You need to buy extractors and PLEX the accounts. It works if the character is fully trained for their job and you are harvesting "surplus" SP to sell in injectors - that way, the account is already paid for by their main activity and the SP harvest is bonus. If the character is not contributing to your game in some other way you will be disappointed. That said, Eve is a commodity market subject to boom and bust cycles. If enough people give up on injectors, the market will recover and become profitable again.

also need ideas for alternative income in case you cant rat in null, lev 4 high sec seems to be pretty reliable, on an alt doing t2 stuff and trading but its kinda slowish.
