Yoiul Festival Final Gift -- in game items don't match email

Sounds like from the Email were supposed to get a bunch o' junk after 25th... But if they are counting yesterday at 2359 EVE Time, then no accelerator was with my Fireworks/2 launcher/skin



i thought ccp really cared about their paying customers by atleast giving us a gift on December 25th, Christmas day.. no other crap or excuse.. i logged in and was hoping to get something and didn't get jack chit..

im also very poor in game and i wish those out there will give me some isk now.. since i didn't get anything for Christmas. maybe it be best i just kill myself now and die in a corner quietly.

They did give you a gift for Christmas day, it was redeamable at 00:00 GMT (AKA eve time) december 25th. which if your in north america is anywhere between 4-8pm ish.... so they gave you your christmas gift, you where just impatient and opened it on christmas eve... and are now complaining about having nothing left to open.


Well, it's right now 10pm on the 25th in North America, eastern time. I received nothing today at all. Yesterday I got a skin, launcher and snowballs. Don't know if there was supposed to be anything today, and tbh I'm not super bothered, but just sayin' that there wasn't. Maybe you meant december 24th... but that's not Christmas day, that's Christmas eve. I just think it's a bit strange about them saying how "special" the last day would be... if it is the items I got yesterday they were about on par with most of the other ones if a bit below some (multiple skins).

the odd thing though is that I received one the other day.....

You seem to be confused by timezones.. Those gifts were made available on the 25th of Dec, GMT. You might have redeemed them on the 24th where you are, but they were issued on the 25th Eve Time.

Ya we all got that one, but that can't be the one they mean since that specific gift box would have expired by now (unless already redeemed to a station).
So either they messed up on the Email, or they messed up on issuing gifts on the final day.

Okay so let me just sum this up real quick.

Gifts are issued at 0:00 GMT on the 25th. For those in the US, this would've been anywhere from 7pm to 2pm the day before, the same time you've received all your other Yoiul gifts. The booster you received earlier and the email is therefore probably a miscommunication. This would not be surprising as it took them a week to send one of my accounts that expired an alpha welcome mail.

It does appear to be a badly worded email. Oh well, the gifts we've received so far have been great.

Currently 07:02 in Eve, have not received anything since yesterdays launcer snowballs and skin. Anyone else? I got yesterdays items Last night around this time (eve time). Logged in again after 00:00 EVE time tonight and again just now but none of my accounts got anything.

yesterdays launchers where the last of the 12 days gifts. if there are any more coming then they are new years. and thats still an "if" since afaik they have not actually officially announced any new years presents (although they showcased some new fireworks on the o7 show, including one that is supposed to be specifically for this year, and they have yet to make an appearance, so it is a safe bet that there will be at least one more gift given out)

Probably this, mail was worded to describe the whole 12 days of Yoiul festival but was implied to be specifically for the 12th and final gift.

Anyway, Xmas in EVE wouldn't be Xmas without complaining about free stuff. Lol

Well if you got anything at all you're lucky - many days out of this event I've had no redeemable items show up on BOTH my accounts AT ALL.

According to the official site the final day's items are supposed to be available until 9/1 (it says 2016 but lets assume it's supposed to mean 2017)

Can I see anything on either of my accounts? Nope. Nothing , nada, zip, squat... you get the idea.

I've only managed to claim 5 or 6 out of the "12 days" this event is supposed to run according to official information.

I was never really interested in the "rewards" as most xmas rewards in MMO's are worthless, but looking at the prices of the boxes being sold, I'd say I've obviously missed out, despite logging in regularly.

If you got the ones with the Snowballs and Festival Launchers, that was the final one (until maybe New Years Eve?).

I got all stuff on all my accounts, except two, cause the damn launcher removed two of my accounts for some reason and I didn't notice till a day had passed :( But beyond that I logged in every day shorty after midnight Eve Time and got my stuffs without issue. Till now where it seems to be CCP Screwed everyone over, or sent out a poorly phrased email. You'd think by now a GM would have dropped in to say "Opps, sorry, here's what should have happened/been said.."
