I hope everyone has a very merry one.

But please remember that this time of year can be the toughest time for some. Remember that there is always someone out there to talk to if you need to.

**** son this years christmas had me stay at home due to getting flu. Got better but still have a bloody sore throat.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

I feel that, been practically bed ridden the past two days with one of the worst flu's i've ever had (and I managed to get h1n1 when it was going around)
Add to that I have no family anywhere near me, and I wasn't about to subject my few friends to whatever strain of the black death I have managed to contract and it has been a rather lonely and rough holiday for me.

The eve community has really helped though, even if its just chatting with people on comms having some sort of connection to the outside world can be a game changer when things are low.

I went for a walk this morning and saw lots of people in the streets. Couples without children, lonely people... The world is getting closer and closer to what we imagine of Hell.

Meh, not getting closer to anything, especially the first world hell you are describing, couples without kids doesn't sound bad especially for the couples and loneliness has been around since Grog left the tribe and Lana didn't want to follow him.
I've seen a lot of happy people overall, matter of perspective I suppose.

As far as the original post, a drink to the lonely, may you be with someone next year.

Probably best to not make assumptions. I'm quite introverted, and autistic, and 'loneliness' is actually my preferred state of socialisation. Being around people can actually **** me off, but when I'm alone with the pleasure of my own company, that's actually when I'm at my happiest. Everybody is different, and we all have different opinions of what an ideal life is, and that's not just a good thing, but how it should be. Homogeneity is the real Orwellian Nightmare, the real 'hell' that you should be concerned about.
