What are the best items for turning LP into isk?

I realized that I have not really spent the LP I've been getting. I have 100k+ from a few different corps. Generally what are the easiest and most profitable items to buy with LP to sell on the market?

Its called research. You do it to find your answers. As for why I'm posting this incrediably unhelpful answer, think about it for a moment. If I tell you what I make good isk off of for my LP, I have competition, so I don't make as much from my LP. Its called market PvP. I will give you a hint though - generally things that you make from BPC's are worth more isk than items, and things that require tags are also generally worth more isk than things that don't need tags.

As PvP extends into the marketplace, I doubt anyone will give you a good answer, As with anything truly profitable, do the research yourself.

So here's the deal. Very few if any people will tell you which exact items have good to great conversion ratios. The reason for this is simple: any item with lots of competition will drop in price, and even a small drop in price can hugely change the effective conversion ratio. Above and beyond that, fluctuating tag prices mean that profitability of individual items changes fairly often anyhow, so there is no clear best answer.

There are, however, some general guidelines. First, easiest and most profitable are usually not found in the same item. While you can easily move faction ships, implants, and ammunition, their conversion ratios range between low and abysmal. Other high volume items can be somewhat more profitable but often face enough competition to drive down prices easily (think damage mods, FN webs, IN LARs, etc). Weapons are usually but not always a poor choice as well, given that most faction weapons are eclipsed by their T2 counterparts. There are exceptions and if you can figure out what they are they can be somewhat worthwhile. Finally, 5-run BPCs tend to be more profitable in the long run than modules themselves, but of course they require you to produce the items in question in order to maximize your profit. The last point means that which LP stores you use has a significant effect as well; military stores tend to be short on BPCs (but are common to run for because they have mostly security agents).

So it really does depend. See what your tag costs look like; many items are immediately nixed based on the relative dearth of cruiser and frigate tags for certain factions. Make a decision on whether you prefer to liquidate quickly or maximize profit; the two goals are usually in opposition. And from there take a look at the actual conversion ratio, taking into account sell price, ALL costs involved, and the amount of LP you have to spend. There are decent items out there, but they aren't self-evident.

Hi folks. I appreciate the info. I probably wasn't clear enough in my post. I wasn't looking for a list, more just a discussion of what factors to look at when deciding. When I started looking at the markets I realized that didn't even know what questions to ask myself about the items. I really appreciate Zhilia Mann's post as it provides most of the info I need to start experimenting with getting some items. I didn't want to just totally throw LPs away blindly.

The items which sell for the most fit into the following categories:

They aren't on the market.
They require another skill to do something with.

That means blueprint copies of faction stuff works out well because faction stuff isn't on the market and blueprint copies require manufacturing skills to use. Regarding specifics, I'm going to let you figure that out.

As I have already cashed out and are not likely to run missions again anytime soon I can tell what I used my LP on.
Imperial Navy Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane 5 run BPCs

I don't know what the tags cost today but a month ago the total cost (tags, isk etc) for 1 produced EANM was 30-31m. They sell for between 40m and 50m depending on how patient you are. So that gives 1700-3500 isk/lp.

Check out the LG Nomad implants from the Thukker Tribe. They pay very well and they have HS lvl 4 agents. I believe they get up to a 2000ISK to LP conversion on some.

http://eve-agents.com/ so you can find where to run them.

Ammo is definitely the easiest. It's very much liquid - easy to sell. It's also one of the least profitable. But if you are not going to play the tags/spreadsheets/manufacturing game, you can make a bit of isk on such items instead.
