CCP why can't we choose the gun first and directly buy it?

Is it too stupit when you fit your ship thinking like thiis order: gun, ammo, defence...then buy it?

The new ghost fitting has improved the fitting efficiency, but in high slot the Electonic Warfare still on the top of the item list instead of any guns. (it's kind of alphabetical order)

Yes, there is third party tools. But isn't more convenient and satisfied that if palyers could find their guns at first place in the game? Imagine when you are first time playing EVE, fitting your ship, maybe a customizable list order or preset categorized order like overview could be even better than alphatetical order.

When you right click the item of fitting sheet, there are only "Info and Compare". Why don't add "market" option or double click we can directly buy it?

Could not understand the point OP is trying to make. I'd suggest finding an actual english speaker and not relying on google translate.

Nearest I can tell is that OP has issue with the ghost fitting system, to which I respond with the standard reply.

If you want more advanced features, use the more advanced third party tools.

My guess: In ghost fitting you can filter the module selection at the left side after slots.

Answer: its in alphabetic order.

I think his point is that when you use the simulated fitting, the list of things you can fit appears in exactly the same order as it does on the market, i.e. alphabetically by the heading. Since 'Turrets & Bays' does not appear at the top of the list, I assume he wants the entire English language redesigned so that T is the new first letter of the alphabet, and the guns therefore get their rightful place at the top of the list.

Apparently you need to put a 'T' before that, Ralph.

Actually I'm pretty sure this is a clever dig at the seemingly random order the skill groups on the character sheet now have.

+1 OP..

It's not exactly alphabetic order though. The ”structures“ is on the bottom of the list. My point is why alphabetical order? Isn't gun first make more sense?

Not if you fly a logistic ship. Or a hauler. Or a mining barge. ...

Structures are not ship related. Just a guess.

They need to implement a Siri for the ghost fitting window, so you can "Siri, what is the best fitting for my ship?" and have it do it for you.

Top level of the list has ship equipment ahead of structures. Not sure why structures is appearing on the simulated fitting window though. What structures are there that you can fir to a ship?

Oh, what a good idea. Naturally it would annoy many people and they'd then come here to complain that Siri fit for PVP when they wanted a PVE fit (and vice versa)

You don't have to fit the modules in the order as presented in the item list. Item categories are listed in alphabetical order and you will find weapons under "Turrets and Bays". You can fit the guns first if you wish. Sorry for blowing your mind.

Anyone wanna tell OP about the filters? Or should we keep that secret for the EVEluminati?

Fitting probably is first thing and the most important thing to do when you fly a ship. That's why I am digging this details.

My point is the aphabetic order may not the most efficient way tor fitting. The new fitting system has different filters is try to improve fitting efficiency. Isn't more convenient find gun on the top of the list? This small changes may gives even better experience for new players.

If aphabetic order mean so much to you then keep it. I am asking there is more choices, maybe a custom order list option.

By the way, what's the first thing pop up in your mind when you fittingt your ship by yourself?(except copy others or using a third party tools)

It's OK to laugh and blow my mind if you have more ideas make EVE even better. Merry Christmas!

So here's the thing. Not everyone starts with guns to fit their ship. Maybe you do, but a lot of people don't. So it makes NO sense at all to reorder how things are listed based on a percentage of the population's habits. Personally, I think they should put Hull and Armor first, that's where I frequently start my fit. Do you? No? So would it be helpful in any way to you if we rearranged things to best suit my habit? I don't think your answer is going to be yes...
