Electus Matari and their dogs won't engage anything if they don't have at least 5 man support with BB and at least one logi ship plus ceptor.
If they don't they stay docked or leaving system when -10 is on local.
It's still possible to catch them alone here and there, but do this only when you have fresh intel.
They are dangerous only if they have numbers, just like insects.

Basic rule about them is: If they want to fight, blob is near.

Sounds like they put tegether a good fleet and you have gotten your *** handed to you on a platter a few times.

Their idea of a 'good fleet' is one that has 10-1 odds in their favor Lol

Nothing wrong with that if you are on the winning side :) I seriously doubt anyone in here in a 10 man fleet would refrain from shooting that 1 ship that he sees as a valid target just because they are outnumbered.Cool

Im not sure if they are real Anti Pirates or EM pets. But i know this...

You jump into Otou and get chased around by Space Police 5 of them in system, having they regular fights..

You them jump into Miroitem to see a small Neg Ten gatecamp on the otou gate, killing and podding everything passing the gate..

You move on to Hagilur to find a The Fendahlian Collective gatecamp on the Hagilur / Bei gate, in armor BCs and HACs with Guadian support, to find them lock you up and open fire because you are marked red.

You jump into bei, woundring how Neg Ten can have a gatecamp running in miroitem and Space Police hunting people in Otou only 2-3 jumps out with the COA camping in Hagilur going GCC on their market red targets at gate.

So you take the high sec route to HEK to reform a fleet and break the Neg Ten camp.. Sucess they flee back to Rancer.

I can only say this to many times..

COAs standing list are not public, noone have a clue why they are on it or if they are on it, they figur that out once ganked and they claim your a pirate for their own resons.

Anti pirate?!?

That would be the same as Space Police claim they are CONCORD, at least they have their name to back them up.

Nisroc - Angel of Freedom Nisroc is known as "The Great Eagle".

Faulty logic.

No one's standings lists are made public. That has no bearing on whether or not they are pirate or anti-pirate. Standings lists are not indicators of piracy or anti-piracy.

Actions are indicators and it seems to me that I've seen your alliance pirate in metro a few times. Once was on me (failed) prior to me being affilated with anyone red or orange to you and look at my sec status :) I just happened to be a neutral in the right place at the right time for OF. Thanks for clearing it up that OF are piracy leaning and a COA alliance is a better place to be :) Good folks here.

Real pirates don't fear anyone. We get annoyed when people blob or use disproportionate amounts of ECM/logistics, but we aren't afraid of anyone.

to further expand on this, there are two kinds of pirates in eve, and both types are affected differently by this kind of "anti pirate" organization

the first kind, the more traditional kind of pirates, tdg, pwnt, anti etc like to operate in small groups, they fly around individually and tend to get better small gang goodfites. "anti pirate" groups tend to disrupt this kind of pirates the most, not necessarily by killing them but by being big and clunky and cumbersome and obvious and telegraphing to the pirates that they should probably move on

the second kind, a newer breed of pirates, like snufd, mtass etc, like to operate in larger, heavier groups, often with capital support, and they like to pick big fights with big organizations, like fw or even pvp alliances like rnk. anti pirate groups like the ones referred to in this thread are more a target than an annoyance for pirate groups of this type

hope this has been illuminating

hi i'm requiescat, and i'm your best friend♥

You do realize EM pretty much do more pirating than they stop right? There has been a dozen times they have tried to pirate me and I have either escaped or fought them off. There is no such thing as anti-pirate anyways really.

They are very capable anti-pirates. That's why Angel Cartel, Serpentis, Sansha, Blood Raiders and Guristas are scared shitless of them.

Nope.

Anti-pirates are just pirates that don't want to suffer any of the penalties associated with going GCC and being flashy red.

That is kinda wrong. If done right they would not shoot anything with positive sec standing, unless red for other reason. The question should be: How many of such people really exist?

Remove insurance.
