Why aren't these implemented yet?

Because they would be redundant.
Use a DST or an Orca

Has anyone tried fitting a Porpoise for cargo yet?

EFT apparently doesn't have Porpoise info yet, but from some basic math, I come up with these numbers...
Hauling capacity with max skills, T2 expanders, and T1 rigs: 1545 cargo, 5000 fleet hangar, 67,500 ore bay
It gains little from cargo expansion, its fleet hangar is a much better place to store things. Also, if Eve University has its attributes correct, its mass is between destroyer and cruiser; its capacitor, hit points, and drone bay are suggestive of cruiser size; it has T2 battlecruiser warp speed, and its rig size is large.

There is nothing new about this - people have been using Orca as a mini freighter for years.

Let's call them jump-freighter and be done here.

People have been using an Orca as a mini-freighter because they don't have a real mini-freighter. Which means it's not redundant. Because nothing like it exists in the game. How can it be redundant if it very clearly fills a giant unfilled role?

You're wildly overestimating the persuasiveness of this. To put it in terms you'll be able to grasp:

How persuasive you think this rhetorical style is: ########################################################
How persuasive this rhetorical style actually is..:#

You're apparently making the assumption that we're somehow incapable of appreciating the relative magnitude of these numbers, and that's why your ideas aren't well received.

In reality, we all know exactly what the numbers are, the relative difference between them, and every nuanced consequence descended therefrom.

Stating the numbers does not function as an argument, regardless of the format of the presentation, and "This number is big and this number is small!" does not serve as an inherent proof that there should also be a "medium" number.

If you need more than an orca and less than a max-cargo freighter, that gap is sufficiently covered by a tanked (or hyperspatial) freighter.

"Help, I'm bored with missions!"

I am aware of this. It takes but one read of the responses I get to know that much.

I base this assumption on comments such as this one:

Yet you continue to use it anyway...

Explains a lot, really. P
