Fast hard hitting ship for piracy

Hey! Im new to eve so I need help picking a ship for pvp. I am minmatar if that means anything. If possible it would be nice if it is fast, hits like a truck and maybe could take a few hits. Thank you! Fitting also added in please!

A Trasher could be a good start, destroyer are quickly repayed, can deal decent dps, move fast and somewhat tank depending of your targets.

either an artillery or blaster ship, artilleries have high burst damage from long range but slow rate of fire, blasters have high base damage but are close ranged weapons. so either a Thrasher (Minmatar destroyer) or Catalyst (Gallentean destroyer)

Use a thrasher, Rifter, Slasher and the Rupture. Though just keep in mind that the minnie line are not very well balanced and tend to be a bit weaker compared to the rest of their counterparts so learn your ships and apply them in situations that they can win.

I know that's a pretty generalized statement and only broadly gives you an answer I however do not know Minnie ships that well and wouldn't be much help.


Just don't use the Stabber. It's one of the worst ships ingame right now.

Rifter, Slasher, Thrasher, Talwar, Rupture & Gnosis are all good pvp ships.

+1 Thrasher. Very versatile ships. Autocannon or Artillery.

As suggestion above, a shield Thrasher with ACs and a Microwarpdrive might be worth looking into. High DPS, a reasonable tank and (some) speed.

Agreed. A little considered aspect of the Cynabal is the warp speed bonus. Add a T2 warp speed rig and you're warping faster than a Sabre.

It also does less dps then a caracal at 28km. The cynabal is ****.


(edit, actually medium auto cannons are ****, at least for kiting, if the weapon system didnt suck so bad the cyna wouldnt be so bad)
