How excactly does citadel transfer work?

I'm in discussions with another corporation. They have suggested the possibility of me buying out their Citadel. How would this work? Can such a transfer take place through a contract, or do I have to, at some point, just trust that the guy will actually do the transfer after I pay him?

If it is even possible the best way would be to use a trusted 3rd party to escrow the funds until the trade is completed. Chribba offers this type of service for Titan trades, but now those can dock at citadels so....

Edit: It might be like transferring ownership of a POS, you have to do it by giving the corporation that owns the structure to the buyer. Short of taking the structure down and then anchoring it again.

The transfer process it's very strait forward, and the same that you use for POCOs.

The actual owner just right click on it and choose "transfer structure", than you search for the desired Corporation and hit ok, and that's it :)

Unfortunately I don't know if there is someone selling 3rd party services to secure this kind of transaction...

Yeah I assist with citadel trades as well. Holding the ISK and making sure the citadel gets transferred.
