Hi, this corp I'm in now is my own. Previous corps this char has belonged to were very friendly.

But I'm wondering, What do you think is the friendliest corp in eve?
I have alts in several other corps that I've found to be very paranoid in Eve and some what unfriendly, suspicious, always worried about corp thieves, spies and awoxers.

It's like paranoia is a natural condition in Eve and rightfully so.

In many other games people are a lot less paranoid and a lot more friendly.
Eve people are certainly a very identifiable group by their attitudes and behavior.
Just hang out anywhere in eve and listen in local, you're likely to hear all kinds of things I couldn't repeat here.

So seriously, help me out, what is the friendliest corp in Eve? Or Alliance?
Thank you

Its impossible to know, yet there are toooo many and many people can consider something friendly as someone else could not.
Join anything and become yourself the judge. If you want to write it later or keep it to yourself, its your choice.

Like in any social groups, the leadership determines the atmosphere. Find a nice CEO, and you will almost certainly find a nice corp.

(funny how I still remember the NPC corporation my first character started out in so fondly - just because of one extremely helpful & nice player who gave a lot of good advice in corp chat;

if you are playing on a NPC corp alt, please take a look at corp chat every now and then and donate a little time giving advice or clearing up the worst misconceptions;
if you have free time and would like to help other players in a more organized role, apply for ISD:STAR)

join us, we're friendly and don't give 2 craps if you're a spy

if you pvp come fight, if you don't, go do your thing and the corp makes taxes
luls aplenty on TS, and other benefits.

other than that, friendliness is all over in various forms

Out of all the corps I've been in, I still recommend the Dark Hat guys. Socially they're one of the best corps I've ever been in. I'd still be with them if it weren't for RL constraints eating away my EvE time. Even still, they'd drop everything to help me if I called and I would help them if I'm online and they asked.

A word of caution: don't mistake kindness for stupidity. They're not stupid and are always vigilant on watching for potential corp thieves, griefers and spies. Don't ever ask or expect to receive access to corp assets.

Tada O hands down! :-)

Actually ask anyone that was ever part of the "O" and they will say we are extremely friendly folk. That is one of our primary requirements from every member.

Universal Freelance, we don't care if you are a spy or not nor do we care at all about your alts, heck we don't ask for any keys or references and taxes @ 0% . We usually have drunken shenanigans and that is why we are the friendliest. And I don't stay this just because I won the corp lotto here and there Lol

Goons.

Think about it.

They are too friendly for me, which is why I hate them so much I would give them all a nasty pinch if I could.

Honestly? I couldn't say I've been in enough Corps to give anyting near an accurate assessment. I know my old Corp was mostly friendly; but I never would have considered it really friendly. If we were alltogether more relaxed, I would have a different opinion; but the reality is, most of us were/are uptight bastards, and even though we try, it's not enough.

Doesn't help we had our share of highly opinionated indivduals from time-to-time. Caused a lot of arguments, and I usually ended up being the one stomping them out, or mediating the situation and trying to make everybody get along. Laughable really, but they were all relatively good guys, and I didn't want to be a big bad CEO and kick the problem child out. It ended up boiling down to a vote on those few cases, and an agreed upon split that left nobody feeling to hurt over it.

I was quite relieved to turn over the Corp to another director when I felt the time had come; and sit back for awhile, not worrying or stressing about the bs that sometimes happens. Now, I'm on my own because I felt it was time to let them do their thing and take a different path.

tl;dr: I'm not familiar with friendly. In a game like EVE, or anywhere you're dealing with people you don't fully know and have difference with at times; it's very hard to actually relax and be friendly, even if you really want to.

Treachery is common-place in EVE; and even those you think you know, might be up to something. If you have nothing to lose; then it isn't going to matter much of course.

I am absolutely certain that even some of my friends, (fellow directors), in that corp, were in it up to their eyeballs; I've even watched at least one Null Alliance video, (can't remember which one), where I actually heard the FC and recognized him as a fellow director. Kind of amusing actually.

It doesn't matter of course, and everybody has alts. As long as it is rewarding to those individuals you give power to; you'll probably never find yourself with nothing for the trouble. A strange philosophy, but sometimes necessary for me.

I'm sure truly friendly Corps do exist in EVE however. I've even tried to make a few myself; but it never worked out. Roll
