If you edited that wall of text into coherent sentences and broke it into paragraphs, you'd likely get some helpful responses.

Just sayin'

Adding to the above. being new in EVE is a test in many ways, you have failed in many ways.

As a new player you have no idea what you need to know. EvE is hard, so what you consider "too much" to learn is actually just scratching the surface of what you actually must learn Pirate

I just wanted to second what has been said above and re-state that if you could state a specific question or area of the game that you are looking for help with. I'd love to give some advice but I'm having a hard time seeing an actual question in your OP.

I think he is asking for a way of bookmarking his dead ship. And also complaining that when server maintenance happens it does not save your mission progess on your return.

Ahhh yes bookmarking is very important. Bookmarks get used a lot in Eve for many different reasons. I believe the default shortcut for bookmarking your location is Ctrl + b or at least that is what it is on my compy. Also you can right click on pretty much anything on grid and bookmark it's location. Ships that have not been blown up yet are the only exception that I can think of.

Here is the thing about EVE; you will never fully understand most of it.

This is okay. It is part of the design of the game.

The trick is to find something you like and become good at it.

If you are lacking in an area, make friends with someone who is good at that particular thing.

This is not that kind of game.

Here... economics plays a HUGE role in what you do... what you can fly... where you can fly it... how you fly it... and, as a result, what targets you can engage.

You cannot ignore miners and industry or write them off as "nobodies" that affect nothing. They could be supplying you enemies.
You cannot ignore the pirates that are sitting on a stargate, shooting anything that comes through. They could endanger your supply routes and block vital allies from getting through.
You cannot ignore allies that want you to do more with less because it is more economical for the group at large.

EVE is a multi-faceted PvP game.
Economy feeds war. War fuels the economy.

2. tried a couple off level 1 missions

got the hang off targeting and mining so I thought why not cant be that hard to do a mission

mmmm 1 mission sent to collect an android medic can up against 3/4 ships
I was destroyed 4/5 times before I won
had to keep going back to station which isn't any big problem
trying to find where I had to go back to continue

was a problem

no markers saying with here is where u left ur dead ship

The game will not tell you. It is your responsibility to bookmark the location of the wreck and come back to it... IF you choose to come back to it.

Hint: NPCs will not kill your pod.
Before you warp back to the station, right-click your wreck and select "Save Location" / "Bookmark Location"

during ur maintance (assuming he mean "server downtime") ur mission should be held at that time to allow u to continue at that point I believe u have to restart the mission all over again ShockedSad

Correct.

This is an old issue. Just go with it.

There is a couple of post above me about bookmarking, so I will cover a different point:
you are a new player doing level 1 missions and you have been destroyed 4-5 times. I doubt that you had the money to buy and outfit 4-5 frigates, probably you did the mission in the starting corvette.
That is a weak ship. Especially if you are using only the modules you have looted so far.

For level 1 missions frigates or destroyers.
Level 2 cruiser or destroyers, depending on your skills and knowledge of the mission.
Level 3 battle cruisers
Level 4 battleships

For fitting you can go to the EVE Uni site, here are the fittings for the Punisher .

When you do missions for the first time, it is a good idea to start as heavily tanked as possible. Later you will have better skills and more knowledge and you will be able to reduce or even totally remove your tank, but initially playing turtle help.

You can find mission descriptions here: EVE survival.

Typical missions NPC damage and resistances here damage cheat sheet.

Run the career agent missions, you will get some nice ship. Even the venture work better than the starting frigate against L1 missions. And that is a mining frigate.

This reminds me of a saying. If you write u instead of you because u is easier to write, then I will answer, no instead of yes, because no is easier to write.

While I could figure out what that mess says, it is not the reader's responsibility to figure out what you mean, it is the OPs responsibility to show the readers respect and write responsibly.

Seriously, if writing you is too much effort, then Eve, which requires a significant amount of effort play, learn, and interact with others, then Eve may not be for you.

Grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes-- These are ok. However, lack of effort is not a mistake. Lack of effort is lack of effort.

Try. If you aren't going to make an effort to communicate with me, how can you expect me to make an effort to communicate with you?

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.
