Snipe!

Well, not quite, but I said it first!

It's beddy time (well, it's been for a while now) so i'm going to sleep. Mr. Pericles and his Greeks will have to do without me until tomorrow.

Nighties lovelies!

Also: 20 meters long robotic arm made of helium balloons, whatever it can be used for...

Mornings lovelies! Today I'm going to visit the oftalmologist, and probably I'll need new eyeglasses after it. I'm a mix of worried and excited about needing new glasses, worried because this visit may mean my eyesight went south a bit more, excited because maybe new glasses they will improve a bit my eyesight after all. Since optical technology surely has advanced since I got my current set, what wonders will await to those eager to scrap a little more refraction index from ultrahigh density optical glass...?

Visited them yesterday, left eye's prescription change by .25 which was a surprise as I thought it was the right eye that went bad! Turns out it was perfectly fine.

Spent a fair bit more on my glasses this time as I wanted that anti-glare stuff on them.

Timezone all o/

As someone whose worn glasses for nearly 40 years, I've decided that it's the added features that really solidify the viewing experience. I have glasses that get really dark in the daylight, plus they're smudge resistant!

I am alone at work. Not another single soul in the building except for the resident ghost, Marianne.

Blissfully quiet.

Well, apparently I'll be keeping my current glasses for a while. My eyesight is mostly where it was 4 years ago when it was checked last time, and whether I've lost or don't a bit of eyesight, ti's not worth making new glasses.

I hate it when I visit the doctor and the results are "yes, but not enough, so it's a no". Straight

(Well concerning my ressemblance of diabetes, he said it was a yes because I am all of 5% above the maximum threshold, and after all my family precedents are awful)
