Hi,

i have 2 Accounts. I left last year when i was completely robbed beeing in a WH-Corp just after investing everything i had in Ships.
All that's left is a Force Recon Ship and some Interceptors/Stealth Bombers and Crane on my Indu-alt.
My priority would be to get some ISK again, and i know some things already, but i would appreciate your input.

One of my alts can produce Tech II-Drones, and has a bit of PI set up to support that. I would start with getting the PI Stuff running again, then start making some Drones.

The other alts can fly Battleships/Logistics V respectively, so i could do plexes as soon as i can afford the ships, but i feel rusty and will wait with that for a bit.

I was also thinking about doing FW/Bomber Missions, that proved kind of profitable back then. Is it still?

What about incursions?

One alt is quite proficient at Scanning, does that yield some value? I like the thrill of "gambling", so i dont mind earning nothing for a few days, when i have the chance to hit a jackpot, but i am completely lost with what to scan for nowadays.
I'm not interested in joining a corp for now, since i am not sure of how much time i can really invest.

So, what would be the most efficient method to get a "bankroll" again? :D

Thanks for your Time. I am also very happy with links to do further reading, right now i feel overwhelmed by the information presented.

Scanning would be a great way to do it. Low start-up isk, and higher rewards possible than running missions. I would aim to do DED rated sites in order to get some good isk.

Otherwise, look at getting a simple T1 battleship and run level 4 missions for a while. It's decent isk, but you may gouge your eyes out.

Look at purchasing a PLEX with real money, and sell on the market. This would give you a great start-up bankroll again for you to do what you want.

If you have a character that can do T2 drones, do it. Money is decent for an AFK activity. Plug the job in, then do something else. However, make sure you check the market to see which drone will bring in the biggest % profit to make your time worthwhile.

Lastly, Incursions are great isk. You need a bit of start-up investment. I think the Hyperion is the entry DPS battleship to most incursion groups. Aim for a Vindicator, Nightmare or Machariel to run them. Otherwise, go Logi.

When I read posts like this I always scratch my head. This is a game and if you are not enjoying what you are doing then why do it? I do grindy stuff in this game but it is because I enjoy it. When I come home from work sometimes my brain is all wound up and I need something simple and repetitive to occupy my body while my thought processes wind down. I'm not even doing it for the isk. It's kind of like a meditation for me.

My point is focus on fun / hour not isk / hour.

For some people the "fun" is in getting as much isk per hour as possible. It's kind of like the Ted Turner quote "Life is a game. Money is how you keep score."

So...

"Eve is a game. Isk is how you keep score." is a way some people view things.

You (i think deliberately) missed her point.

If you want to do PvP (the FUN) and decide to do LvL4 Missions (the INCOME) to fund your PvP you will generally end up doing missions more than PvP purely because it's easier and quicker to destroy ISK than create it (with missions). This means you end up in a position where you do the INCOME a lot, in order to do the FUN a little bit.

What Ergherg..whatever means i believe is that if the GRIND occupies more of your time than the FUN, you migth have more ISK but will burn out and stop grindign eventually, therefor also stop PvPing due to lack of income (because too boring long term).

However, if you decide you like PvP and made the logical leap to thinking of ways to make money while also PvPing (Faction Warfare / Piracy etc) you are much less likely to burn out because you're doing what you find fun and ALSO getting isk to fund it.

So your glib comment aside, hers was good advice and something you should take more seriously.

Think Fun per Hour rather than ISK per Hour, you get isk anyway so you may as well avoid boring grinds Pirate

Find an active pvp system (low sec FW systems are great) you can make a lot of oak by just fitting up some t1 frogs going out killing something and looting the wreck, even if you don't join a corp maybe find a couple of other people to fly with to better your odds of survival and making a bit of isk, finding some low sec -> high sec gates and hanging out there can get you some nice kills.

The nice thing about this is that you can then use the mods you loot to start fitting up ships meaning the only real expenses from you is the hull/rigs/ and ammo. Mods you don't use or can't use just sell em or reprocess them into mins and use to build more t1 frogs

I run lvl 4 missions in a Gila. 700 dps and shield tank that does not break what-so-ever in lvl 4's.
People always tell me Gila is inefficient for lvl 4's. But I dont think so.
I have played inefficient ships, and I have played overefficient ships. Gila is good enough for them level 4's considering skill requirements are lower and cost is about the same of a BS.
All I gotta do is find an orbit point, then keep an eye on my drones not taking too much damage. Cruisers and below will often target them instead of me. And then I pull the entire pocket, each time.

At the same time as blapping rats, I play Project Discovery on my second monitor. I'm at 75% accuracy now. Intermediate analyst 2.

Gila is AB fit. So after pocket is cleared I scoop up the most valuable loot from the big rats - also while playing Project Discovery.

Havent measured the efficiency. But gaming for 3-4 hours after my kids are put to bed earns me 50-100 mill ISK.

That's from:
- NPC Pirate Bounties
- Mission Reward
- Loot
- Project Discovery

I have an iteron hauler waiting at the agent station where I put all my loot.
When the evening is over I go 6-7 jumps to Jita and sell immediate.

At the same time I'm grinding my security status. Which is nice since I like lowsec PVP.
