On a somewhat related note, I offered Madam Kim a reasonable compromise in the situation of the Federal Detention Facilities in Black Rise. It became clear to me that, with the use of F.O.F Identifier Tags, that the prisoners could potentially be rescued without ever firing a shot on Federal servicemen - men and women who are just trying to do their jobs. A team of stealth vessels could very well sneak into the complex where the detention facilities are held and with a little bit of coordination could evacuate the prisoners before the explosives are detonated.

While certainly not surprising, it is unfortunate that Madam Kim declined this offer, insisting that violence was the only way; that killing Federation Navy Servicemen unnecessarily was the only way.

It is regrettable, given so soon after our duel, that I already feel that Madam Kim is unreasonable in intent and motive. It has become clear to me that the situation in Black Rise was less about rescuing Caldari prisoners and more about a pseudo-justifiable reason to hunt and kill Federation Military.

Don't twist my words.
I have offered my services on condition you won't stand between me and my work. I have rescued already plenty of prisoners and I can stage a lossless operation (for Caldari side, of course). I know how to do it and how to do it efficiently with minimal risk to rescue team. My offer still stands. Now tell me yourself, have you already tried to sneak past Feds when there was actually a defending fleet? I would like to hear results. In any way, I will repeat it again here. If you will want to handle this task efficiently and professionally, you know how to find me.

I am only twisting your words if your "work" is conducted in a non-violent manner when violence is unnecessary. This was the entire reason I declined to work with you in the first place, Madam Kim. While the status of my own rescue operations is completely unrelated to this I will point out that I also refused to perform the operation unless I was sure that the task force was large enough to rescue -all- of the prisoners.

So I'll ask again: What is the nature of your "work" that you do not wish me to get between you and of? If that answer changes from the behavior you've shown prior, perhaps we can work together, but I have my strongest doubts that you would stay your hand.

Are we almost done navel gazing yet?

This thread isn't about Angels, or killing Angels, or even who's so great that they can kill Angels with a smile. This thread is about Strike Commander Kim reacting violently when a Pirate held her accountable for threats against infant children. How sad is the cluster when an Angel Pirate is the only one with the conviction to call her out?

Perhaps the Minmatar pilots bleating about how irredeemable the Cartel is, should remember which party of this particular conflict has taken a stand for Minmatar children, and weigh that against all their rhetoric about kinship and racial victimhood before declaring entire societies, which are approaching the scale of their own Republic in terms of infrastructure and longevity,as irredeemably terrible and worthless.

Thank you.

I think you have missed a discussion thread for this, but fine, I'll give explanation here.

The nature of my work is to protect Corporate assets and lives from foreign (mostly gallentean) invaders by military methods. I seek and physically destroy any threat to the said assets and lives.

I am a soldier of the State and I am sent to solve the problems by violence where other methods are not applicable. I know what I am doing and I can solve the task of rescuing prisoners fast and efficiently. Moreover, I have already done this and more than once. All my life I have been trained just to do this work - violence, and I can do this work good.

I have answered your question. I did it back then and I did it now.

And so I'll ask you again my question, that you have now so disrespectfully ignored: have you already tried to sneak past Feds when there was actually a defending fleet?

You yourself said, that you are interested in "non-violent manner when violence is unnecessary". But how would you know if it is necessary or unnecessary? I pretty much know that in this situation the violence is NECESSARY. This is why I am asking you this question. Have you tried to do that without violence? How would you know if it is unnecessary?

I am not going to commit my crew to such dangerous operation, knowing that Federals use fast lockers and tacklers, and when I know I can execute this operation with little to no losses. Besides that, it would be a coward and dishonorable way to sneak past them instead of facing them head to head in glorious combat. Even if my crew have to die, they deserve to die as Caldari and as Soldiers - with weapons in hands, fighting, and not just slaughtered like coward livestock without a chance to shoot back.

Keep also in mind, that you are looking to conduct an operation in our souvereign space against those, who have illegally crossed the border.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

As a representative of the Angels who operates and lives in Black Rise I certainly look forward to you extending your operation to the lower security area of Black Rise.
