Hi guys,

There's an issue being experienced by multiple North American data centers in regards to IPv6 traffic being passed between them.

For us Eve players it manifests as lag whenever our clients try to retrieve data from CCP.

Things like getting stuck with traffic control, market contents taking forever, industrial interface lag. etc etc.

To work around it you can disable IPv6 on your network adapters. Some routers/ firewalls might moan about you doing this and if you start experiencing network disconnects reboot your router to clear some of the data it has cached that is causing those drops.

On the upside, disabling IPv6 also eliminates some privacy leakage issues due to the surveillance focus of the IPv6 addressing scheme - and its pretty much a useless protocol anyway.
