When mining lasers finish mining an asteroid, the UI says (audio/visual) "Asteroid depleted". Could we have the same happen when a mining drone depletes and asteroid?

No.

AFK play styles should never be buffed. If you want to be more efficient, pay attention.

Is there a message for drones destroying a ship? No?

Then I agree with Iain.

I think the asteroid lock flashes before it disappears. That should be enough of a notice for someone paying the minimum of attention. Besides...

It doesn't? Sounds like an oversight. It should do that.

That makes no sense. Mining drones aren't any more connected with AFK play than mining lasers are. By your logic, mining lasers shouldn't make the sound. But that would hurt ATK players too.

It shouldn't tell you when an asteroid is depleted for mining lasers. It shouldn't tell you when your ore hold is full either. Boo.

Hey, as long as it's consistent. I don't like that little 90% cargo chime anyway.

No, it wouldn't hurt ATK players. ATK players will see their asteroid deplete, it flashes as the lock fails.

by your logic mining drones should auto target the next astroid and start mining as soon as you put drones on them manually, like combat drones do. So much for the need to pay attention.....

Sure... once the asteroids start shooting back. Though I do wonder what logic trail you were following.
Wasn't mine.

Should we send a rescue team?
