I would actually like to change LP stores in one way. Make them only give out BPC's for items and not finished products.

Want that navy ship? Go get the minerals and make it.

Want that implant? Go get the PI and make it.

I'd change all loot drops to BPC's only too to be honest ( including deadspace and officer).

Nah, that's too much hassle and not many are mining / salvaging to make them. That would yank up the prices by a ton.

Let's leave implants as is and change the tag collecting things and all will be fine.

Ultimately I'd like to see this. I'm probably biased; blueprint drops from exploration initially got me in to industry and opened up a whole different part of the game to me. However, the additional cargo space freed up would be a huge boon.

However, until BPCs can be traded on market I wouldn't be comfortable with it. Contracts are just a clumsy way of exchanging common, normalized goods and they're a ***** to search through to boot. Lack of API pretty much kills them for reasonable exchange.

It wouldn't be a huge change conceptually to make single BPCs tradeable on market though (or at least that's how I understand it). There oughtn't be more than one ME/TE level to cope with for any given item. So maybe this could happen.

personally i think all items should be available in lp stores for that faction, things like scrams, webs etc etc, would certainly make things easier for people living out of hubs miles from any tradehub

Only thing I could agree with us to make the majority of the LP items BPCs.

The other thing is, I am still in favor of my two prong LP system.
LP for the government and LP for the NPC corporations.

Some players farm LP from the government corps to get the BPCs for building stuff. While others farm the non-government corps to get the mates that are required to build the items.

And the contract system could be updated with the market window into a single window, multi-tab depth thing, so NPC BPCs could be posted to the market in a way.

Personally though, the back end of EVE needs some love. When you go to load some of the windows now days, you lose control for a time which can be deadly.
