Hey Trasch just curious: what would you think about cool uniforms or pets for your character that might cost one or two Euro?

Is this one of those traps? Pirate

no it's just a one-question survey of someone new.

Yep, a nice coat for Trasch instead of generic.

Welcome! This feels relevant for any new player to read.

The only way to grow is to voraciously consume what's around you, and its your choice whether that happens to be New Eden's abundant natural resources, or the other people who're also fighting their way to the top.

That was some very good reading. In fact a must-read for noobs.

The only thing that will be hard is the above line. Coming from years of WoT
you have that gut feeling of absolute teamwork. There is no hiding or turning
back, no teamkilling or conniving.
Thats why the backstabbing and killing for fun will take some time to get used to.

If you always stay ready you don't have to get ready.

I am addicted to shopping on market, and hunting for valuable stuff in pirate wrecks, and watching new explosions.

Wow, this game is awful... but Im starting to like it.

Made several new characters and gone through the tutorial 8-9 times, starting to get the hang of it.

You now whats funny? I actually like Amarr best, reminds me of original Eve: Homeworld.

Think Im ready to go Omega. I mean 15 euro is nothing compared to how much money I have poured down into
both World of Tanks and Armored Warfare.

Still googling more than playing but there are a few gems among otherwise closed down sites.

Half this game is played using spreadsheets.

If you like Amarr, going omega would lead to *very* satisfying results.
Amarrians make up for their slower ships and locked damage types with superior damage projection, but that usually involves t2 Scorch crystals. No other race is as heavily reliant on their t2 ammo as Amarrians...

Well, t2 blasterboats really love that Null, similar to t2 pulselaserboats lovin' that Scorch.

But yeah, compared to missiles and projectiles, lasers need dat t2 to shine!

Welcome to EVE!

I will admit, i saw the title, then the first few words and my first impression was less then stellar...

But after reading your whole post glad to see you are looking to stick around!

Google is your friend, but ultimately your best best friend will be experienced members you can fly with. Google can be out dated, old, or just wrong. The way EVE is going these days, changes are bi monthly!

Fly safe!
