How to turn 1.4b into 14b?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if there were any kind avid marketeers who could perhaps offer me some advice.

I've never ever been wealthy in EVE but recently sold my mining character for 1.2b, so my wallet now stands at 1.4b (still not rich compared to the real richies, but definitely is for me).

I've decided I want to stop all my activities in EVE and concentrate on using the money I have now to generate even more as I've always been fascinated with the EVE market side of things, but never really clever enough to understand and work with it.

I was wondering if you could perhaps tell me what the best way to multiply what I currently have would be? I'm trying to be able to gain 400m/month so that I can afford to play EVE on for free with buying a PLEX.

I've recently been looking around the market forum and was wondering if investing might be a good idea, but it might be very slow starting to be able to give me back 400/month, I'd need around 4bil to start with!

If you can offer any advice (and do be as specific as possible), I'd appreciate it.

This is so easy to do. Give me 1.4b and I promise to send back 14b.

This will only take a second and you'll be space rich.

I don't always play EvE, but when I do, I prefer it to be a masochistic sandbox hell. Stay wardecked my friends.

Buy low, sell high.

Seriously.

Like, for example, region wide low priced buyorders for loot ppl get by ratting or plexes, etc.
Easy to figure out what items to look for on your own, too.

Or, considering piracy ... specific buyorders at good places,
which considers stuff that gets dropped from ships.

Maybe need to find the right region, but ...
... as there are plenty of regions, there's plenty of opportunity.

If you have some information about typical loot drops,
check different regions for prices of these items.
It's time intensive, but worth it.

I once sold quite a few small rigs in a region where i was the ONLY seller for this item
and made a million out of each of them ... just by traveling around a bit.

Bought them "here", moved and sold them "there".
Tbh at first i was sceptical, but then i sold the first ... the second ... the third ... :)

Or... i made millions by selling drones at a spot that had a shortage or where they were
overpriced and i was able to sell them at a lower price, but still with huge profit.

Of course, if you don't like to travel and station trading is your thing ...
... with enough intel about a region, you can make billions by slowly taking over the market.

The definitly most important thing to have is information about what to trade and where.

And always remember: buy low, sell high!

Enjoy ! :)

1) Train to fly a freighter (takes about 14 days)
2) Buy freighter
3) do player courier contracts

Will net you about 3 billion per month and you will not burnout too fast if you autopilot a lot while doing other things.

EDIT: Bonus, if you wanna go the burnout route:

4) make at least 5 billion with courier contracts
5) start station trading in a hub
6) dont cry once your finger gets amputated after you updated 73.289.912 orders.

and never never never never give your ISK to someone who tells you they will make you rich. Just give it to me now if you ever think of this, I promise, you will get nothing back.

I have a sure fire way of acquiring 14 billion without having to spend anymore than 1.4b

Just send the 1.4b to me and I'll evemail you the guide on how to acquire it.

Uhm say WHAT? I must have been seeing the wrong courier contracts because all i have seen is not even worth spending more then 10 minutes on.

1. Buy low, sell high.

2. Buy as below mineral value if possible that way you can always reprocess.

3. Buy as far below or near Jita-4-4 buy cost as possible so you can always dump excess inventory in Jita.

4. Use eve-marketdata.com and/or eve-central.com and study item prices, their variances and variations.

An easy way to make a lot of isk is to look for gaps in the market and then fill those gaps. This is hard to do in empire though as you are competing with a lot of other traders. Focus on low sec or null sec areas. Also because of the amount of isk you have, you should focus on only a couple of areas. You want to maximize the amount of isk you can make and you can't do that if you are spread to thin with the amount of isk you have.
