this gift is basically a crowd funding exercise for ccp to put up a palentine XL citadel since no one in the game is wasting their time to build and own that 1 trick pony

It's funny, a couple of days ago I noticed another internet spaceships game(E:D) was doing Christmas gifts for it's players also.

Those gifts are special edition skins on sale on the game's website and I thought how nice it was that CCP gave actual gifts and not "special" offers in an attempt to cash grab. 🙄

I think it is fairly obvious someone forgot to add the gifts today, so they are going with a 15% off coupon to try and hide their incompetence. Seeing as it was all bonus content anyway, I'm not going to complain.

I'm sure they'll all agree it is just as good as the actual gift cards and presents I got them last year.

From now on I'm just cutting out coupons for birthdays and all holidays.

Except they said there giving gifts and then they want money. I really could careless about the gifts but I see no reason for anyone to defend this. Its a screw up plain and simple and they had to know it would **** people off.

I couldn't care less about them, or the EVE store in the first place (since they have yet to put model ships in there, which is all I'm interested in). What I'm calling out is anyone that thinks CCP owes them more than they've paid for. They don't. They just don't. Regardless of PR spin, they don't owe you ****.

Sure I care about the gifts or I wouldn't have checked to see what was there to redeem. Its kind of like you posting in a thread about them. Its not about entitlement. If CCP had not said anything about gifts I would never expect one. However, they said they would be giving gifts and today was obviously not a gift. Also they don't owe me **** and I don't want **** but because they said they were giving gifts to players and to be sure and log in to collect your gift each day there should have been a gift even if it was carbon.

I'm okay with this gift as it will be valuable to people who were already thinking of making a purchase. Plus I'd take advantage of a discount gift for plex or arum.

p.s. Besides I'm still happy about getting a nice accelerator yesterday.

If CCP really wants to have whatever they had lined up for today, it'll get bundled in with a later day.
Maybe it already has. Yesterday's was a skill booster thing, (thank you, it is much appreciated and will be well used) and a memento thing. Prior to that, I think multiples were either his and hers, or SKINS for all the races.
So, maybe someone already goofed, and gave us two presents instead of one, and this is their way of catching it.
