Im going Omega but I wonder about this "core starter pack"

In the account manager it states that "core starter pack" bought
from Steam can only be used when creating new account.

For example on this site: http://www.gamecards.eu/games/good/1158
it says you can add it to trial account (green window).

What do you think?

The prototype cerebral accelerator included with the starter pack expires when your character is 14 days old. It represents much of the value and the days you have already played are wasted.

I recommend simply clicking the upgrade to Omega button in the launcher - CCP has a pretty good promotion there if you subscribe for 3 months or longer.

There is nothing in the starter pack that is worth the extra cost.
