custom ship naming broken?

just realized along with my custom settings are gone , that when i custom name my ship it does not show up any longer when i hover or click on my ship when its is out in space. has ship names been broken?

Where are you looking to see the ships name? I thought it only shows in the cargo page and on Dscan or on the wreck when it is destroyed. On overview people see your name not the ships name.

yes, i click my ship in space it Used to show my custom Name i gave my ship, i dont see this anymore recently.
and i didnt find it in viewer option?

Did you name it while in it or name it while out of it. I used to get issues a few years ago if I named a ship without being in it. which is weird. Try changing its name again.

Your ship name remains, but if you clear the game cache files, your Overview settings get reset to default. So you have to go into the Overview Settings and configure the in-space name for ships to include PilotName [Corp] {Alliance} ShipType (Ship Name), and that will display yours (when you click it), and everyone else's.
