Graphics Setting Interval 2 not working on OS X

It should give max. 30 FPS for smoother gameplay but it doesn't, goes up to 60 FPS like Inerval 1. On bootcamp windows 10 it does hold 30 FPS with Interval 2! Can we get that fixed on OS X please?
