Hello,

is there a website or tool that displays a PI-chain as a sort of "flow chart", thus if I select for example "Nuclear Reactors" it will show me recursively the basic and advanced materials that flow into the production of "Nuclear Reactors" ideally with:

  • Quantity needed for a definable number of the end product
  • Current Jita market price of each product
  • Profit on each step (thus is it worth creating the more advanced material or sell)
  • Definable taxes for each step (=planet)

Thanks for any links... :)

I didn't use it personally so I don't know exactly how it works but you're probably looking at something like EVE Planetary Planner.

As for schematics and static flowcharts I think the best are still the PI Diagrams.

It doesn't do the pricing for you, but it does show the flow.

I'm going to go ahead and make this public again: factory planet planner. New version includes build/buy on P4s on the main page and lists what you need to buy to make each. It really isn't meant for full production lines that include extraction but if I get extremely bored before year's end I might tweak it to see if I could include that.

Thank you for your replies and links. I've found lots of tools that display the relationship for PI production lines. Didn't know EVE Planetary Planner that does this from my perpective in a very "at a glance" way.

However all miss the taxation, value and profit aspect at each level of a multi-tier production tree. Which is exactly what I'm looking for and francly I would think any multi-tier PI producer would be interested in.

In order to become a multi-tier PI producer you must have Bloody Spreadsheet Shenanigans to lvl 6 as a prerequisite and have wasted half of your eyesight working shifts around your all-inclusive google sheet. On top of that you must have at least one bionic wrist because having to deal with carpal tunnel reduces your isk/hr by a huge amount.
