I have just created an account and downloaded the game and there is no Icelandic language to choose. Does this mean the game is released separately for Iceland somewhere else?

No, there's only two servers, Tranquility and Serenity. Serenity is in China, Tranquility is for everyone else.

You should go down the street and let the DEVs at CCP know what an outrage this is.. Blink

The headquarters is in Reykjavik.

The server cluster (for the whole world, except China) is in London.

Note: The only reason there is a separate server for China is because of Chinese law (see: they do not want their population being "contaminated" by outsiders).

I mean there is probably a dev test server that is almost only accessed in Iceland. Also they had some plan to move the old TQ hardware to Iceland to run the sisi test server on, not sure what the progress is on that though.

all that said you probably want to log into TQ as that is where everything actually happens.

Also, despite the developer's location, the game has no localization into the Icelandic language. It is developed in English and localized into a few other languages (e.g. Russian, German, French), but I do not believe Icelandic is on that list.
