I've never killed anyone in highsec, but I feel like reviving Feyd's pay it forward program, killing a carebear in game for every whining post in the forum. Congrats. The first kill will be in your name. I'll make sure the person knows to thank you.

If there are people who like to play the game other way not the people,the game has to change.....

Exactly nonsense posts like this are meant if i mention "respect".....

There is not only pvp in this game and IF there are pvp pilots that hinder pve pilots in playing THEIR game the pvp pilots are to be punished....and a continued harrasment of pve pilots has to be made impossible.....

Bottom line....

And those "EVE wille be destroyed if these changes come" bullshit talks are just that......

Change to a more pve style will not kill eve.....they will change it to a better game....

These "i kill you 'cause i can and are allowed too" bullshit has to stop in hi...and ,regarding to ccps actions the last time they WILL push the game exactly into this casual way if you like it or not.....

No one wants to kill pvp in eve...just adjust it to a more realistic style.....

if you are in an unsafe area you can be robbed.....but beeing robbed inside a police station with the policemen surrounded and all you have to do as robber is to call your buddy to get the loot(just an example for the changes i suggest) is ridiculous.

A single sentry should alpha kill a pilot that is ignoring the non pvp flag regardless what ship he flies and everyone who tries to pick up the loot shoot be killed too.....

Im not against pvp,i'm against senseless,pvp forced only from one side simply because they think the have the right to.....this should end in this game....

This is what i'm takling about.....you can still have duels in hi....but no bullshit pvp anymore against unarmed ships for the killmail.....or stealing of mission critical loot in scanned out mission areas.....

This minimum change to the casual side is reasonable.

Yeah, give my alpha alt a mining barge. Im well able to run about 4 alphas if I use all my static IP / boxes, and with 4 mining barges and my rorqual, I'll make a REALLY nice profit.

Now, OP, you see what that could do to mineral market, and by extension, rest of eve economy ?

From your perspective, attack might be seen as senseless, but no PVP attack is ever without reason for the attacker. You just do not see it / ignore it. Thats all.

Yeah, I did suicide more than a few mining barges in certain area, on certain alts. Why? Easy. I also manufactured and sold those very same ships that my alts blew up. Repetably. To same persons. Business is business.

No real harm is done in any way if the economy collapses....

Too serious? You realize if the games economy collapsed the game would be finished right? It's such a delicate balance between ISK and real life currency that economy is essential to its continued existence. I for one would like to keep playing this game for years to come.

Edit: I would also note that EVE also puts food on the table of CCP's employees and it's technically one of Icelands most famous exports.

And this is untrue. Incursions (sansha and for a while, Drifter), Drifters, Burner missions. Clone soldiers. New complexes in 2011. Lvl 5 missions. Epic Arcs. Pirate Epic Arcs. Wormholes (sleepers). New loot since 2012 (like Gistum/Pithum invuls), Marauders (pve focused ships) etc etc.

There is the SAME pve mission pool since release and NOTING is done to update it or construct storylines around it.....


So Dread Pirate Scarlet has been a missions since release?

It's funny when people spout blatant lies and think people will believe it. This has been a pretty underwhelming attempt at getting new/old players to sign up. Could probably count the new accounts on your fingers and toes and you won't need to remove but one sock and one shoe.

This game will not die of a change to more PVE it will die of the ignorance players show to needed adjustments........

These unbelievable "PVP players are god and rule it all" will kill EVE sooner or later.....

This is not the way mmog work today and ignoring this fact will end it all......

Reality will kill the wishful thinking...as i said sooner or later it will end your dream......

And yes...this is A GAME.....and you take it all WAY TOO SERIOUS.......

EVE is, through and through, a PvP game.

Through various means/mechanisms of competition/conflict/interaction, no matter what you are doing, happens within a PvP framework.

The reason for this, is we are all equal players in a shared universe.
Though the rules are different, we interact in EVE much as we do IRL, in competition and in conflict over limited resources.


If you are upset by losing a ship to PvP, whilst engaging in a PvE activity, I would argue it is you who is taking the game too seriously.

You lost a virtual ship comprised of data and pixels.
So what?
Why do you take that so seriously?
Its just a game after all, right?
