Best:- Wars.

Worse:- War Dec system.

No one uses it but Jita Campers.

keepstar down, billions lost, could have been worse, no different then when an FC makes a call on saving a single ship vs getting everything blapped. defenders decided to let them grind and kill it while they got their stuff out. sometimes you just have to cut and run.

no drama, a dissapointment for sure, but meh, if i had a million isk for everytime an FC said nope, not engaging that and retreated i wouldn't have a wallet big enough to hold it all lol.

best thing about EVE - it's EVE

worst thing about EVE - still not mobile enough in this day and age. (as in mobile app needs to be able to do a lot more)

This is probably true.

Also, if someone attends the tidi fight for this stupid reason, they deserve the experience they get.

Massive fleet fights are by far the most boring PvP in EVE (outside of HS ganking). For the life of me I don't know why people do it. Get out of HS, out of null and do small gang work in LS and WHs.

The only problem with 'small gang work in LS and WH' is that no one notices when you finally leave the game. One less visit of annoying small gang per week or something even less meaningful.
At the same time big empires clashing in 0.0 are remembered for years.... And some time some people even write books 'Empires of Eve' Cool

I remember my first player event where I experienced tidi. I concluded the only way to make EVE less fun was to play it at a reduced speed represented by a percentage. This is the percentage of normal fun you are having right now

Yeah but Im sure those involved in smaller fighs 'member them for years, and those fights change the tapestry and future of LS and WHs too.

Too much for CCP I guess. Something that blizzard has been doing for a decade now.

Dont go to the big fight if you dont enjoy it.

CCP is not technically dishonest in promising them, they are just technically limited in providing for them.

With Keepstars proliferating, this is what you can expect, everytime.

Just dont participate. If you dont enjoy it, dont do it.

Well, if you build expensive structures you have to participate.

Huge expensive structures promote giant TIDI battles. Like KillahBee said in the video, why use expensive capital ships, when you can just use thousands of cheap subcaps?

Deploying thousands of cheap shuttles to cause TIDI and make the battle unfun is an exploit and will get you banned in notime.
Deploying thousands of players in cheap ships to cause TIDI and make the battle unfun is considerd good strategy and will get you fame and lots of positive attention.

I know the comparison is flawed, because gathering thousands of players requires a lot more effort, but the end result is the same: Massive TIDI and unfun battles. Should the future battles for expensive structures really be decided by who has the biggest alpha corp? (i.e. Pandemic Horde has over 10,000 players)

No offence, but do you really have to wheedle gambling into pretty much each and every one of your posts? What?

As he said gambling was his main Eve for last couple years (i can be wrong about time slope). I think he needs some time to get used to live without it.

You dont "have" to. You choose to.

Especially if you yourself personally dont have anything invested in it.
