Simple idea maybe

I had this idea for a simple thing: a list of the ships in eve and their current, as of when you're looking at it, jita (or elsewhere, I suppose) prices. Seems like a spreadsheet would be the way to go, one column for ship type (frigate, cruiser, interceptor), one for ship class (Tristan, Slicer) and one for the corresponding prices. But I know nothing about how to get the data, nor whether it would be better or easier to get it from Crest or Eve-Central or somewhere else. And maybe there's some easier way to do it. Any suggestions?

Hm. Maybe I don't need to do anything. Seems like I can get what I'm looking for in EVE-IPH, though I did get a crash (in the sql interface, looked like) when asking for median sell price from everywhere. Switched to min sell price in Jita, and at least got a reasonable looking list. Are Jump Freighters really the most expensive ships in the game? Well, other than carriers, supercarriers, titans, dreadnoughts, and a few strange or unique sub-capitals, for which apparently there is no market pricing, at least at Jita.

Now I just have to figure out how to export the list to a spreadsheet so I can play with it.

I have an Android app that does this as well, but for all items in the game. You choose the region you want prices for and it will show you all the buy orders. It can be found here: Marketbot
