Ok for a question, if you could splice 2 or more ships together purely for aesthetic quality, which would they be and why?

For aesthetics, but also for everything else. Orthrus and a Falcon. No regrets.

Wayist, no clue why but it always interested me but don't know alot about. Either that or Amarr but..... Don't need to explain that one do I? I like to know why/what I fight.

Depends on the circumstances and the definition of 'wrongs'.

It's 'wrong' to kill, but killing the people that killed my father would probably be the most satisfying thing in the cluster, if I could ever find them. That'd make things right in my book.

Do you think we have been good caretakers for this cluster as the only known advanced sentient species? Rogue drones and the whole trans-post-whatever humanist Jove aside.

We're little bits of cruft in film-thin biospheres and small motes of dust in vacuum, on any scale beyond the personal. Calling us the caretakers of anything beyond ourselves is the height of hubris.

We're doing a fair-to-middling job at that much.

What person has been the biggest influence on your life as a capsuleer? A mentor, personal hero, example to follow?

Even though our love is cruel; even though our stars are crossed.

Did you miss the species part? I did indeed mean humanity as a whole.

This one's a little obvious in my case, but, no one else seems to be answering, so: Praefecta Lunarisse Aspenstar Daphiti.

I don't aspire to "be like her," exactly; we're pretty different people, and anyway I don't think I'd be able to do my job if I were. It's hard for a light source to play a shadow's part. Mostly, I just trust her, and her judgment, and admire her a lot as a person. Also, I owe her, a lot.

I often wish I was more like her, though. Left to my own devices, there's a lot of trouble I'd probably get into. At least I've gotten okay at guessing what she'd want to see happen.

Maybe that's enough, for now.

No sir I did not, but I find it hard not to assume the worst of someone wearing so much gold. You have proven to be a nice enough person so I apologize if I offended.

My favorite part of being plugged into a ship is that it is like having guns for arms, fingers, hands, even ears if I concentrate carefully...

My least favorite is that it makes it difficult to drink a nice cold Quafe cola.

Wild one, weeds and all, all primal and natural. Never did like Grandfather's meticulous regimented approach, all neat lines and ordered business. On the subject of the man, never have liked a lot about him at all. You know, over the last year or two I'd mostly been under his roof, but I feel like I know him even less. Then there's that new lady friend of his, Lady Beth? **** if I remember right now, real shady person though.

Oh ****, I'm ranting aren't I, really should stop coming on these forums when I'm in a mood. Hey here's a God damn good question, who in the damn hell invented caffinated wine?

Way gardens. Stonework, water, trees artfully and carefully maintained beyond the lifetimes of individuals. It's an easy place to lose oneself to reflection.

Surely you took biology as part of your capsule training? Caffeine and alcohol are both powerful diuretics, and in concert with alcohol's suppression of impulse control pertaining to consumption, can quickly produce dyseuphoric or even medically dangerous dehydration in a baseline physiognomy. That's short-term. Mid-term, such as after a night of sleep in which no hydrating fluids or supplementary vitamins are consumed to aid the processing of alcohol? Even worse. In short, it is counter-productive and perilous.

I am very, VERY sorry no one has already told you about that. Please be very careful when mixing your drugs, even if they are the sort that people don't usually worry about? I wouldn't like another reason to fuss about everyone.

What do you put in your hot drink of choice, and how common is that where you're from? I mean tea or coffee, mainly, but I'm sure there are others.

Tea often, coffee rarely. For the most part, nothing in either, although different teas require different treatment. Many I drink straight. Some are best served with a bit of honey or aged snow elder, lupusberry, or fire persimmon. None I drink with cream. Ishukone tea culture possesses more of a bent towards greens, fruits, roots, and blended mixtures than the 50 variants of kresh you'll find in Wiyrkomi tea parlors. All the better; I have near no kresh immunity. Watch (and even more so, Watch Logistics) drinks a lot of straight black, but I've never been big on caffeine.

Coffee is always black but rich and nutty. The cheapass straight black furnace grease stuff you can buy for a pittance isn't worth drinking. I was raised that men drink with cream, women do not, and I've just never developed the taste for it.

You know, I've never thought about it before, but maybe that's just my clan? Is it more widespread? I've never thought to ask, just taken it for granted.

A nice hot meal of steak, potatoes, whiskey, and chili. Wouldn't have been able to afford even that one meal if I hadn't made it good on my last expedition. 1 mil+ isk. not much but seeing as I just finished training, but it was great.

to describe the meal, think about a big, juicy, mouthwatering steak that some merchant's slave would kill to have. The whiskey smooth like water, and the chili, oh the chili was hot, but not too hot, just the way I like it.

A cache of "blue" salvage (mostly a stack of armor plating) worth about a hundred million ISK, collected in just a few minutes from a series of old wrecks in Anoikis. I think others have had better luck.

Aside from local capsuleers, I think the most dangerous thing I've run into was an armed Sleeper site that unexpectedly went active and very hostile while I was trying to crack a data cache. I don't lose exploration frigates very often, but, I did, that day.

I know such places can be run safely. I'll have to see if I can find an account by someone who's managed it if I run into another. Only ... well. Doing such things might be contributing to our troubles with the Drifters.

So, maybe I won't.

On that note:

I don't think anyone answered this?

I hope we find out what the Drifter Elements and Nexuses are, and what they're for-- and maybe how to interfere with them. Just knowing how to kill Drifters seems like it's not going to be enough, in the long run.

Getting philosophical? I don't see much good in the world. Chaos reins supreme in all things, and nature is is the queen of such chaos. But to give you a straight answer: Water. For it's simplicity, but at the same time having such a complex need in life.

Sure, most of the time.

Did you have a question, sir?
