Ah, interesting day it has been... got myself hooked back into Civ IV: BTS. Don't know how the current game will go, I'm rusty as hell and can't remember anything about technologies. But God knows it's a matter of just one more turn... Lol

A while back in LAGL I posted a couple of limericks, a week or so apart. Might have even been in the previous LAGL thread before CCP Logibro deemed it's many thousands of pages as forum breaking.

Ooooh. Still the best CiV game in my opinion.


Graphically speaking it stands its ground quite well, it's not outdated at all. From what I've read Civ V and VI aren't bad, but I like stacking units and I somehow resent that he game direction was handed to a player who didn't liked the ortogonal pattern and unit stacking. He has done a good job, but people are playing HIS Civ, not THE REAL Civ.

It looks like someone blinded would try to paint a picture with brail alphabet knowing only sounds of environment around him. Not really impressive even for its times probably.

Thanks, a friend of mine in game who has multiple accounts just contracted the present to me for free. Said it was because I was his mentor who taught him a lot when he first joined the game. He also said he has almost 115 bill in his wallet so ISK was no problem. I told him I should have listened to my own advice so I could be space rich too.

^ I need to get space rich.

Going to see if I can make isk supplying the Alliance, going well so far but with all the moving about it gets a bit difficult. You can make about 10% profit from Jita buy price so obviously buy orders make the margins greater, but the supply line to nullsec is always risky.

A jump freighter with a hold full of goods makes a good turnover though, atm I have to use other peoples freighters. But once I get my own I will be happy.

Also hoping to manufacture, buy ore from our miners and make stuff to sell on site.

I am determined to stop wasting time ship spinning while I could be making isk to throw at the PeeveeP's.
