See what happened before. Only that way you can be sure to make correct decisions and actually affect the future.

How would you prefer to meet your death?

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

Calmly, in my sleep. And although probably not surrounded by loved ones -- this life, seriously -- at least smiling at the memory of the screaming deaths of the last of my enemies.

When was the last time you had a good cry?

When I submitted to the marks I now carry. There is nothing quite like complete and utter failure to uphold your duty, values and principles, and accepting that you have done so. Although I suppose there's different definitions of a 'good' cry. I've never really had one that was 'good' as such.

The EVE Gate. To think an overly radioactive hunk of old metal glowing brightly in some backwater Lowsec system has generated such a huge amount of speculation.

Did we come through it? Is heaven on the other side? Was it built by Mankind or something else? Or is it the remains of something that isn't even 'gate like'? Who knows. It's still a nice system to fly to and meditate in, as it's usually an empty system most times of the day I'm active.

Most profound experience?

Nothing like a bowl of muesli with fruits.

Try holding a conversation with a baseliner who has never killed anyone. That's weird!

Oddly, either Jade Constantine or Verone. While I rarely agreed with their points of view (at that time), they spoke with a passion and command of rhetoric that is sorely missed.

Yeesh, I wrote that? I'm edgy before I get my morning coffee, it turns out.

Better by the day. Anticipating growth, even if I'm not completely sure what form it will take. It's a good feeling.

Do you make things? That are meant to be admired or enjoyed, rather than used or blown up?

I write things occasionally. I try to make...conversation, I suppose? So many people seem so alone. I make space dust. Agh, I need a proper hobby....

Interacting at any great length with my crew. A few months ago, I would have been making an effort to eat with them and at least live close enough that conversations would arise. Bad idea. Bad for mental health. I could wax macabre about it for a while, but I think we all know the feeling. Anyways. I don't do that any more; I try to see whom I hire as little as possible.

Do you have any alts? How'd you meet and start working together?

With respect, pilot, you might as well call up the Empress Catiz I on her home comm, and ask her what colour her underwear is, in between heavy breathing -- you're about as likely to get a truthful answer.

True. If I had any associates like that they'd be most useful unnamed.

Can you maybe try a different question, Neph?

I have a corp that I worked with before I became a capsuleer. They fund majority of my exploits and supply limited logistical support. Ships don't move themselves enmasse after all. Think that's what you mean, Neph.

How do you rationalize any activity you do, your primary activity (for instance, neutral piracy in my case)?

Doing God's work, advancing a few research projects and getting the hell out of the quagmire of K-Space for a while. Occasional skirmish with various other Capsuleer entities to keep my edge sharp is a bonus.

What do you define as success in life?

I can answer this one actually, at least for one of my many friends. You see I have a nice Gallente associate who entered Minmatar space just about the time I was liberated. He was seeking his fortune making and selling items for the Minmatar republic and we met on a lonely space station in Teonusude. I was quite poor at the time and struggled just to keep my 1 single ship from falling apart. In fact it was so bad that I had to disable the capacitor every time I docked it, or it would burn out completely and need to be replaced.

My friend of course was in search of help keeping the Angels off his back while harvesting minerals. He had only himself to rely on for this at the time so he hired me and my rickety ship to protect him, he couldn't afford better, but he has yet to regret his choice. In exchange he makes new parts and ammo for me, and has since become a good friend. It took him little time to develop strong feelings toward slavery and has vowed to do all he can to help in the war effort against the Amarr. Even at the cost of being less wealthy than he could be if he went back to Gallente. His home is now in the Minmatar Republic and he affectionately refers to himself as "Gallentar"

Ok for a question, if you could splice 2 or more ships together purely for aesthetic quality, which would they be and why?

Edit: oops I see a few people replied in the time it took me to type all of that up Oops

Be useful, be happy, learn lots? ... more or less?

(The "learn lots" seems to actually be the simple part.)

Uh ... maybe a Machariel with its "halves" offset like the engines on an Imperial Navy Slicer? It's just the first thing that comes to mind.
