Allow D-scan in station or put in a window

Seriously every ship in this game down to the lowliest corvette has the ability to D-scan, but when you enter a station for some reason you are completely blocked from knowing anything going on in the outside world.

How is it that a building of such magnitude doesn't have the ability for someone to use D-scan?

Or how is it we are playing so virtually far in the future but the invention of a window in that station so I can tell if there is a gate camp at the exit of that station is too difficult to come up with?

Seriously how realistic is it to not be able to see by one means or another if there is a camp right outside the station?
How realistic is it to be able to D-scan on the very smallest ships in the game but not be able to use one on the very largest structures available (stations) or to say entirely that this problem was never solved and there is no means to look outside the station whatsoever.

It seems silly you are telling us that a corvette has more ability than a station, it simply isn't believable, also the fact you cant even have a window is just silly.

Time to make pvp something you work for, not something you wait outside a station for to exploit a lame mechanic that is long past its immersion factor.

sounds like you need to upgrade to a citadel or EC where you can do this

also you know you can undock have a peak and dock back up while still invulnerable right?

Why is the long undock invulnerability not good enough for you?

He does perfectly know about that, but he actually want a way to do that:

  • without giving intel about what he's going to undock in,
  • without giving away the fact that he may soon undock,
  • without having to pay a second account for a cloaky scoot.


But since those first two advantages would be a little bit overpowered and he perfectly know it, he tries to ask for it without mentioning it.

Undock in a pod. Or shuttle or any other ship that you don't mind giving away.
