Can anyone explain why when I go to upgrade to Omega from the launcher I get THIS.

But when I sign in to purchase it I get THIS.

Don't make me go all THIS!

I was wondering about this aswell.
When i upgrade Alpha to Omega it costs me 8.33โ‚ฌ (12 month pack).
When i exend my Omega subscription it costs me 10.95โ‚ฌ (12 month pack).

So, if i let my Omega accounts expire so that they become Alphas and then upgrade them to Omega again, i can save almost 3โ‚ฌ per month?

Also, why does a 1 year pack of PLEX still cost 210โ‚ฌ when 1 year of subscription only costs 80โ‚ฌ now?

seems so, and yes plex is still $19.99 a pop. unless they do a sale.

It looks like they're giving a discount for upgrading vs simply renewing a subscription. I'd suggest jumping on that deal if you can afford it.

Because a PLEX is not exactly a month's subscription. It's an in game item you can sell for isk, so CCP charges more for PLEX than they do subscriptions.

If you need the PLEX for any reason beyond keeping your subscription active, buy the PLEX. Otherwise, just pay the subscription fee.

Brand new players who upgrade from alpha to omega get a discount.

Its an incentive.

I did it with my alt a couple months back, got a cheaper sub for 6 months of game time.

Nothing wrong with that.

It seems that if you created an Alpha account you can upgrade to Omega with the dscount only the FIRST time.
Then you have to pay the full price.

I have both an old account (alpha state now but got subscription some years ago) and a brand new account created after Ascension.

The new account gets the discount..
The old account doesn't.

I was hoping to get an official response from CCP.
