can i still play if i no longer buy a plex!

i have 60mill sp on this toon and im wondering if i no longer buy a plex can i still play?. i know i can log in too accounts that have less then 3 mill sp, so im wondering if a "big" toon also is "free too play"

Yes, but your "big" toon will be made "small" as it will become an alpha account. You will not be able to fly big ships... only t1 ships of your race and only up to a certain class (was it cruisers?). No cloaking for you either... you SP will still be there, just inaccessible until you have an Omega account again.

Signatures should be used responsibly...

Yes, you can, but you will be limited to Alpha ships and skills.

You can login and play the character, but you will not have access to any skills that are not in the skill list for a gallente Alpha clone. This will effectively let you fly gallente T1 frigates, destroyers, cruisers, industrials, the Venture and the Gnosis. You will not have T2 weapons, t2 drones, and you won't be able to fit a couple more t2 modules either.

You can but as a 5 million skill point Alfa with restrictions.

Sriously though that many skill points and you can't figure out how to use that to buy plex? Roll

i can but my play time is very limited over the next couple of months, work and doing some home improvement will take up most of my time,

and if i do get some free time too play a computer game i want it too be for leisure and blow some poor sap out of his ship and pod, not for making isk :)

so with 5mill sp ill hit the FW scene

Ahh

Just run a unplexed alt, less frustrating if you switched to get into non racial ships way back.

That or look over your skills and see which are useless to you and sell them?

Or for future reference, start research and let those pile up untill you need downtime income.

If you dont have time to play because of work, buy time with what you earn so you can xontinue to skill up and play when you have an hour or two.

As to Alphas, yes, they are best played in PvP for fun.
FW provides complexes, mssions and plenty of targets.
Isk generation on alphas is severely limited and tedious compared ro your 60mil SP account.

Or align with the organisation/activity of a HS pirate corp.

i have decided too take your advice and sell some of my SP and use that too buy a couple of plex, i have alot of fluf skills i dont need or use,

you can still 'play' but u won't like it!

For the simple reason u can't do the things you're used to.

I tried it and HATED it.

I specialized in Caldari ships... oh the irony...

Extract 1.5 mil sp from skills you don't use anymore or don't want, sell the injectors and pay for a Plex.

Now as omega, get your train going on some random skill at 2400sp an hour and in the end of the month you will have another 1.5mil ap to sell and pay for another plex.

There is absolutely no point in having an account with over 5mil sp in alpha.


edit: Correction: Over 6.5mil sp, because you need the first 1.5mil to sell for a Plex which brings you down to 5mil again.

You can fly up to T1 Gallente cruisers, mining frigates, and the Gnosis SoE BC. Pretty sure your T2 skills (wepaons, tank, etc) wil be inaccessible. Trying to do any sort of industry or hauling on an alpha is pointless. You can gas mine with a Venture. So there is that. But you won't have T2 gas miners. Only T1.

Or you can do as people suggested and sell some fluff SP.
