Hello, I'm new and I'm not sure if this goes here, but I'm trying to complete this mission and I didn't realize my Punisher was full when I looted the researcher now I can't find him, and mining doesn't seem to trigger him again. I wanted to see if I could drop and pick up the mission again, but it says that if I drop it I won't be able to take any more missions from the agent. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Ok,

Next time drag something into space, like metal scraps to make room. or ammo if you have to.

Now, your main option is to file a petition f-12 under stuck in mission and ask for a mission reset. They should be relatively fast, hopefully.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

If your Punisher was full when you tried to loot the researcher (from some container in space, I assume), he should still be there in this container.

Just undock and fly to where you found the researcher the first time. If you forgot where this was, talk to the mission agent again. The mission description should name the system where the mission is located. Now right click and set destination (if it's a system other than the system you're currently in).

When you reach the system, either right click in space and look for the "warp to" option to warp to the mission (usually at the end of the drop down menu). Alternatively you can use the shortcuts available under the system name. (It's a bit harder to explain without a picture, sorry. Also from memory, so I hope to get the details right.) By default you'll find the name of the current system in the top left corner. If you look at it you should notice four icons right above it. From left to right, the first looks like a sun (this is for opening/closing the system information), the second looks like the letter "A" (this is for opening/closing autopilot route), third (afair) looks like a small head (this is for opening/closing mission information) and fourth looks like a slightly bigger head (for opening/closing opportunity information). Make sure mission information is displayed. You can now click on it (either left or right click, I forgot what it was) to get the mission warp in.

Now in the mission just go through the acceleration gates (if there are any), find the researcher again and loot him.

If this doesn't help you can either petition (you might need to wait quite some time, because Support is drowning in support requests atm) or just wait for server maintenance which will auto reset the mission.

Thank you for your answer, After looting the guy from the wreckage I flew back to the agent and it said I didn't have him. I saw my ship was full of minerals so I sold them and flew back to find he wasn't there. I'm just going to wait on that mission untill after server maitnance if they are a bit flooded I don't want to congest any system more withsomething small like this.

Keep in mind that today is patch day and server maintenance may take longer / be followed by a long patch download.

If waiting doesn't resolve the issue, and the petition support people are also slow to resolve it (usually takes a few days), you also have the option of abandoning that mission, which will make the agent stop talking to you. But you can go to one of the other Career Agent locations near you, and do the career missions there. You can repeat all of them or just talk to the Mountains of Molehills agent and do just those.

And lastly welcome to Eve.

It's good to see you're staying mellow and level headed, definitely a must have for this game. As others have said, you can eject something else to make room in your cargohold. Just bookmark the can location and return there later to get it. Always retrieve the mission item first and complete the mission asap, that is your primary goal, everything else is secondary.

Hope you have a long and rewarding career here in Eve.
