ok, there's three different types of gas to harvest in EVE.

Mykoserocin is used in Synth boosters and Cytoserocin used in other combat boosters (Drugs). These are only found in certain lowsec and 0.0 hotspot constellations.

Fullerite Gas is found in Wormholes and is used in the convoluted T3 production process.

This will be the career mission. You are looking for a gas training site - given the number of new players they may not be spawning fast enough - try again!. Make sure you have the pass key to enter the site.

Where did you scan?

Open the Probe scanning interface and click the "Spread Formation" button (looks like a bunch of wide-spread spheres) to set the probes to cover as much of the solar system as possible. Also click the Map button in the upper right corner of the Probes window, to see what your probes cover.

Then also right-click and ignore any listing that's already identified as not gas.

If you need help with how to operate the probes interface, you can press F12 in-game and go to the Tutorial Videos tab and watch the Exploration / Scanning (1, 2, and 3) videos.

Thank you everyone!

I found it after about 2 hours of scanning and some help from a friendly player.

Thanks
