Client crashes constantly

I tried to open a ticket on friday, but I have yet to recieve a reply. I understand it's the weekend, but I'd love to play before I have to go back to work tomorrow. I hope maybe you guys could help me figure out the problem.

My computer keeps crashing while in game. I have switched settings down to medium/low and while it extends the amount of time it takes to crash from 15 min to about 1 hour, it doesn't reduce the problem. Randomly, the sound will cut out and my monitor will go black and then not recieve any input from my video card until I reboot. After this, I am unable to do anything but turn off my PC and reboot. This is the only game I am experiencing this issue with. I have no problem playing newer games on this PC.

This has been happening during the tutorial constantly. When I reached the point of the big battle in the tutorial, My computer completely freezes but does not crash. The sound starts stuttering and FPS reduces to a crawl.

I am running a AMD FX-6120 Six Core Processor (3.5 GHz) with 10GB RAM and a GTX 570 video card. All drivers are up to date.

Anyone know how to solve the issue?

I've had the same issue, and it sounds like your gfx is overheating. I had random crashes running dx9 and i was going insane since i couldn't reproduce the error.
What i did was overvolting the gfx (Radeon 7850), clocked the memory down 50 mhz and found a program to control the fans and allow me to make a custom "curve"

Check your temperatures, try underclocking a bit, if overclocked go back to standard - Eve is apparently really touchy, since i have no problems in other games.
