Got scrammed, with two WCS's - How come i couldn't warp?

Only one pirate, one scambler and I had two Warp Core Stabilisers.
He did web me, but that was it...
So, how come I couldn't warp away?

you can fit so many warp disruption mods as your ship has med slots.
1) he must've had fitted more than just 1 scrambler.
2) he was flying a heavy interdictor, which has infinite warp disruption strength on focus point (your WCS dont matter).

Maybe the Pirate had a Faction Scrambler (they have strength 3 and so would beat your two Stabs) ? I guess you could ask the player that killed you and you may get an answer.

Other then that I'd suspect the Pirate had a Disruptor aswell thus bringing the strength up to 3.

probably this. could be that he used more than one scrambler on you. you will see that though when you hover your mouse over the scrambler symbol above your ship status.

Only two? HA! Only pussies stab-out with two stabs. Like a real man, I stabbed-out with six stabs and still got disrupted by a lone pirate.

You got alpha'd by artillery before you could align and warp. He didn't even need to try and point you since your ship was so slow and paper thin. If you had been able to withstand the ~4400 alpha strike you probably would have survived and warped away.

I couldn't find your kill on zkillboard, but I have a few theories:

1) Could have been using a faction scram, which means 3 scram strength, enough to defeat your stabs.
2) Could have been flying a ship with a bonus to scram strength, such as a Maulus Navy Issue.
3) Could have been fitting multiple scrams, or a scram and a long point as suggested by other posters.
4) Could have been in a heavy interdictor using a scripted warp disruption field generator, which has infinite scram strength.

If you would link the kill we could have a look and tell you for sure.
