Scimitar.

If you had to choose a baseliner career path for yourself, what would it be?

That's easy I'd go back to being a Cloned Soldier.

What's your favorite place to go when you aren't flying?

Bad action films. The sort that you watch to make fun of, with a bunch of good food that's terrible for you.

What do you consider a defining moment of your life?

Maybe the decision to finish capsuleer training even though it wasn't my choice to start and I finally had the chance to back out.

Have you ever had a pet animal?

No! That's why I wrote "pet animal" specifically...

I really like super congested cities, with loads and loads of people. It feels weirdly satisfying, somehow, being surrounded by so many people.

Would you rather always have a lifetime supply of free chocolate, or a sexual partner with your exact tastes in bed?

If you want to get on Baking Buddies as a special guest, send me a brief video of yourself baking! I'm sure I'd be happy to have you!

(Send me an RP sample of your capsuleer baking! It'll be fun :D)

Human beings are animals. Mammals, in fact.

Chocolate. Putting your faith in other people is just asking to be murdered by the ones closest to you.

Why do you do what you do, put up with all of the vagaries and hardships of daily life, rather than just turning off the clone contract and stepping out naked into hard vacuum?

Because existing in this world seems like an amazing privilege. I don't expect to live forever; I'll disappear eventually. Until then, the world is a wonder, something sacred, I'm lost in a tiny corner of.

I'm not so attached to my life as all that, but, there's always going to be more to see and understand. It doesn't seem very likely I'll have that chance when I'm dead.

This brief moment of "me" is all I have. It's ephemeral, transient, and illusory, and it hurts sometimes (especially when it feels most real), but it's a privilege to have such a thing at all.

Useful, of course.

At what age you killed your first target (human or a vessel, containing humans)?

A man from some backwater part of Solitude joined 13. His translation router was faulty and he had a real hard on for mindflood. We were trying to get him to fly logistics for us, and were struggling through the language barrier and the drugs to get him down the right chain.

Long story short he ended up taking a wrong turn, got killed by some other J-Space dwellers we weren't expecting and took a long freeze. I hear they finally managed to get a working brain scan of his again about a year later. It was hilarious.

Why do you choose to fly with the people you do currently?

"Execute" and "Kill" mean different things to normal people and our IT branch people. They're so different they are even consireded synonyms and antonyms in different circles.

I like how I actually make a difference in this world. Hard work, dedication and good people all around.

I have before but that swiftly became a non-option due to legal reasons.

What makes something sentient?

Oh, this is where you start getting into philosophy and so on, where everything turns fuzzy, instead of having concrete answers.

One school of philosophy has 3-factors, sentience being one of them, the others being intelligence, and self-awareness.
Sentience in that case, is the ability to feel, to experience things subjectively.
Intelligence is the ability to reason, and self-awareness is the ability to understand things like mirrors and so on, recognising oneself as being an entity separate from other entities and the environment, etc.

The word sentience though, is often used in many different ways, with quite different meanings. E.g. suppose there was some kind of alien, capable of discussing things here on the IGS. Some people would say that alien was "sentient", which is not really the same thing. Similarly, those people would say a machine capable of discussing things on the IGS, was also "sentient". Not quite the same thing as the thing I mentioned earlier.

But that's all a bit philosophical and woolly.

So, What's your opinion on the latest Neo-Takmahl fashion trend, with its emphasis on human-leather clothing ? Personally, I find it terribly gauche.

Feed it something else. It's a fedo so you have a lot of options.

Television or holovision?
