On January 24 the Fuel Blocks will be the default for all POS.
The POS will be turned off if you do not have the Fuel Blocks or enter into reinforcement?
And the new fuel can now be placed in the POS before January 24? Will it work?

Sorry my english, google translate ... Cry

Place fuel blocks in now for the 24th.
Put extra current fuel in case a bad update does not switch.

But now if I put the blocks of fuel in a POS it will work or just after the update?

Place both in now.
Use old before downtime on 24th.
Use new after downtime on 24th.

Put 2 days extra old fuel in so that if something goes wrong during downtime, your tower stays good.

Wasn't there something about them doubling the storage capacity for a time to allow people to transition?

So I can go fuel blocks only now even before the patch?

yes and you have to if you want it to stay online over the DT

No.

Your tower will go offline if it has only fuel blocks in it.

You need old fuel until the 24th.

You can put fuel blocks in now so that your tower will stay online after the downtime on the 24th.

You will want extra old fuel in the tower in the event that something goes wrong during downtime on the 24th.

No. You must have in your tower..

OLD FUEL that last at least until downtime on 24th. No old fuel -> tower offline immediately.

You also should put in

FUEL BLOCKS - at the moment they are not used but they can be inserted. After DT on 24th they start to be consumed. No blocks in tower at that moment -> tower offline.

Need both fuel. Normal fuel for another 5 days or so (plus some backup, maybe 2 extra days) and blocks (so tower doesn't run out of fuel at DT on 24th).

Once tower starts to use blocks, the remaining old fuel still stays there and you can then take it out and use it as raw material for more blocks.

Fuel Blocks can NOT be consumed until the 24th. Code isn't even on server yet. Roll

Because they are... blocks?

Tho I do agree that Minmatar could be made of re-treated sewage.

If it doesn't include rust and duct tape, it is not truly Minmatar.

Well, these blocks all are made of blueprints produced by Thukker Tribe, so I suspect these blocks have a secret ingredient that is used to hold all the processed fuel together in a neat block shape...

...well, duct tape. Of course.

Ducktape burns i agree with that but i dont see why would i wana put rust in my engine unless it was already there? As a catalyst maybe?

As many have already said the tower will need old fuel before the update and the fuel blocks after.

This will be an instant change occurring at downtime on the 24th..

There will be no period where both fuel types will work.

This is why all towers had there fuel storage bay temporarily doubled so you could put in a full fuel bay load of fuel blocks and still have a full fuel bay worth of storage for the old fuel until the update goes live after down time on the 24th.

Personally the only thing I am unclear on is what happens if you have the double fuel bay full when down time for the update comes?

Will the fuel bay just be temporarily over loaded until the extra is used up or will the extra fuel be moved to the nearest corp hanger? Since not all POS's have a corp hanger array this could be a problem that might cause a bug when it goes live.

I am not 100% sure, but I do not think the patch which causes the pos to use fuel blocks will be the same that reduce the size of the fuel bay. I think that is a later patch.
