I was playing this game just fine the other day but around midday I got lagged and DC'ed from play. Irritated I tried to log back in but haven't had any luck. Can someone help me?

This is what I get when I try to access the game via a browser or the launcher. I can't even try to log in.

I have reset my ipconfig, I have reinstalled the launcher from scratch. I have my computer 100% up to date (Windows 7). PLEASE someone help.

Unfortunately you are not the only one suffering from the launcher update, many people are having issues connecting and getting into the game, and website too. I've had to use a VPN to log in to the forums, the game just kicks me out and gives me a socket closed error. I've had 2 full days and onto the 3rd now where i can not access my account.

From what i can tell the server is rejecting some connections based on an SSL certificate mismatch, or something to that effect. Though someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

Hopefully CCP will come up with a fix for this and some compensation for those affected.

This is quite frustrating. Particularly since I hadn't signed up for Omega yet and only have about 3 days of training currently qued (down to 1 now).

Thank you for the information though! And the few times I did it let me sign in I also saw socket issues!
