One other thing to remember about people answering WTB threads, they can extract too, and the prices make it hard to buy toons cheep now.

You'd need 18 injectors to go from fresh to 8.5M SP, which would cost 10.8B.

So I think 7B for 8.8M SP is a very reasonable price.

just to be clear what i was trying to explain was you could tell me what skills you wanted me to keep and i could extract the rest, so obviously you wouldn't be paying full price, but you also wouldn't be getting 56mil sp

Or you could pay 7B and get it today.

I don't know how long you've been on the character market but characters are NOT measured by how many injectors it takes to train them, but by how many injectors can be sold by extracting the skills. I was wrong because I thought it was 7.8 mil SP but even then, that would yield you 14 injectors (320x14 = about 4.4 bil). That...along with 2.5 to a generous 4 bil for you extracted character can get you anywhere from 6 to 9 bil. Which, of course, is very, very generous. One easy rule of thumb is to half the amount of SP + 10% of the SP x 1bil. so 20mil SP would be anywhere from 9bil to 16 bil.

In other words, it might even be more profitable for you to extract your character. If, of course, you know what you're doing.

With regards to the injector cost, I was referring to OP's earlier reply that he could inject a new character for these prices. I was helping by providing the math to show that just isn't true.

8.8M SP means I can get 7 extractors down to 5.3M for about 2.2B. Let's call it 3B for a CyberV farm husk. That means I shouldn't sell for anything lower than 5.2B, right? But that's for me as a seller. A buyer wanting a scan alt without wanting to pay for injectors doesn't have the luxury of paying extractor cost for a fresh alt.

And that's why I was suggesting that, from the buyer's perspective, getting an alt that already has perfect scan skills and a total of 8.8M of focused SP for 7B is good deal.
