Mineral reprocessing needs way to compare prices

Reprocessing service needs way to compare prices and yield between stations. Rigs effect how much refining yield you get from reprocessing. Perhaps reprocessing could be integrated together with industry window. Reprocessing could also get stuff like system cost index so not everyone processes stuff in the same solar system.

Comparing prices and service level is important part of new structure system. Currently there is very poor ways available to do that for any service. This needs improvement.

Comments are welcome for my idea.

That's actually a very sensible thing, in particular because you can't know what kind of rigs or improvements a Citadel has.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

The industry facilities tab has a nice feature where bonused services are highlighted with a little + sign and a popup tells you what the bonus is if you mouse over the service. This is available for manufacturing, research and invention but not reprocessing. I assume they could add reprocessing service to the facilities tab without too much difficulty. It would also be nice if the bonused services could be marked and given the mouse-over popup in the structure browser.

That said, Eve is a PVP game and easier for me is also easier for my competition. If I invest some effort to find the best facility in my region, I should enjoy higher profits than those who don't.

You mean the tab that takes ages to load and is very hard to filter through and read? Roll No, this kind of information, installed upgrades, efficiency values for production/research/ore processing as well as taxes, needs to be listed in the Info window of citadels, either as an expandable/collapsible menu for each installed service in the Services tab, as a separate Traits tab or in values that can be compared in the known Comparison tool. Definitely not as tooltips because with tooltips you cannot compare multiple things at the same time.

Your argument about effort is kind of flawed because right now you do not have any way at all to find this information except for flying around with ore/blueprints to see what a facility's efficiency potentially looks like. And even then you could get screwed up because you brought the wrong ore and while it showed marvelous reprocessing rates for Null sec ores, the facility has substandard rates for High sec or Low sec ores (like it happened to me once). That's not effort to beat the competition, that's being a lab rat running around a maze without rewards and poisonous gas lingering behind every other corner.
